The construction of the Krasiczyn Castle began in 1580. The founder of the castle was Stanisław Krasicki, a descendant of the Masovian nobility (coat of arms: Rogala). The first version of the castle had a primarily defensive function. It was the son of Stanisław, Marcin Krasicki (widely regarded as an outstanding patron of art in Poland at that time) who transformed an austere fortress erected by his father into a splendorous mansion. The castle, as well as the nearby town founded by Marcin Krasicki, was named after its owner.
The construction of the castle was supervised by Italian architects, but the interior decorations were a work of the artists of Przemyśl. The significance of the castle was proven by numerous visits from the Polish kings, such as Sigismund III Vasa, Własysław IV Vasa, John II Casimir and August II the Strong.
After the Krasiczyn branch of the Krasicki family died out, the castle belonged to the Modrzewski, Wojakowski, Tarło, Mniszech-Potocki and Piniński families. In 1835 the Piniński family sold it to Prince Leon Sapieha, whose family owned the estate until 1944, greatly contributing to its development. They not only renovated the castle, but also opened a sawmill, a brewery and a farming machinery factory.
After World War II the castle was taken over by the state. Through the years it housed a forestry school, hotel and conference centre owned by Car Factory (FSO) and finally, in 1996, as a part of the FSO's liquidation process, the castle was taken over by the Industrial Development Agency (Agencja Rozwoju Przemysłu S.A.) located in Warsaw. The renovation carried out by the Agency turned the castle into a modern tourist, hotel and catering base called the Castle and Park Complex. The top class of this facility and the high quality of the services it provides was confirmed in 2000 by The European Castle Hotels & Restaurants – a programme grouping hotels and restaurants located in historical buildings.

First Gothic castle was in this place on the San constructed in the fourteenth century, after the activation of the principality Halicz and these lands to the Polish reign of Casimir the Great. Before the castle existed here a wooden fortress was built probably in the tenth century. Already in the wooden fort existed stone buildings - the rotunda of the apse and the adjoining bunk palace. However, neither after, or after the original Gothic castle no traces. The castle was built probably around the mid-fourteenth century, as the local lands included within the Polish in 1340 and, according to the chronicler Janka of Czarnkow castle was founded soon afterwards. The buildings included the Ruthenian Orthodox Church of ashlar stone mentioned in 1220. Orthodox church that in 1412 was transformed into a Latin cathedral, demolished in 1470 years. The castle itself was burned in 1498 by the Vlachs. 
In the years 1514-1553 the reconstruction undertaken by Peter Kmita changing it into a Renaissance castle bastejowy. His condition after the expansion is known inventories of 1553 and 1569 years. The contemporary assumption consisted of members: przygródka and the castle proper. Przygródek of an economic nature was located in the north-west, the lower part of the hill and had two wooden towers, and in one of them the gate. Castle had a proper plan quadrangle with round towers at the corners, and in the corner of the south - quadrilateral. North-west wing housed the gate and is preserved to this day. 
At the end of the sixteenth century, according to sources, "issued the tower," but should rather be interpreted as upgrading existing towers. 
In the years 1616-1633 the governor of the castle was Marcin Krasicki who undertook the reconstruction of the castle again. Reconstruction was to transform the castle palace residence, but this was not the end achieved. Increased tower north and east, the north-eastern wing has been converted to residential building and construction began at the building cloisters. After the death of Krasickiego in 1633, the castle gradually declined and conducted at the time a cursory repairs could not remove all of the damage. In 1663 przygródek with the south-eastern part of the upper castle was in ruins. Although in 1667 she was appointed committee, which was to find a way to better fortification of the castle in 1678 years Marcin Kącki had strengthened "castrum", but nothing in this direction was done. 
Only in 1759 the governor of Przemysl Stanislaw Poniatowski proceeded to the next overhaul. She was then pulled down the curtain south-west, along with the adjacent towers and built a new wall reduces the assumption of approximately 10 meters. Renovated wing of the north-eastern gatehouse obtained buttresses. The work was completed in 1762, and the state of the castle after the renovation is known inventory of 1765 years and the project of the Austrian authorities to adapt to prison from 1801. In 1842 destroyed the last remnants of przygródka when attaching the city park. In the years 1865-1867 were renovated wing of the north-eastern and northern bastion, in 1885, in connection with the adaptation for the purposes of the theater were carried out earthworks in this wing. The twentieth century brought no change in the appearance of the castle, only in recent years it was decided to restore the old look of the castle. Casimir Castle in Przemysl

The owners of the Węgierka castle (initially known as Tuliczów) originally inhabited a fortified manor erected in 1484 by Piotr Rozborski. The castle complex was build during the fourth quarter of the 16th century, for the funds provided by Jan Pieniążek. The castle was built according to a “tower-and-roundel” design, on a quadrilateral plan (40 x 40 metres), with a courtyard in the centre of the complex. Cylindrical brick and stone roundels were positioned on the corners of the fortified structure. It is known that during the 17th and the 18th century, the castle was surrounded from all sides by a moat filled with water, which, along with the nearby reservoirs, formed a significant part of the defence system of the castle. The Pieniążek family owned the castle until 1712, later to be succeeded by the Siemianowski family, Józef Rosnowski and - from 1731 onwards - by Józef Morski, the cup-bearer (cześnik) of Przemyśl. Following his death in 1739, his property - along with the Węgierka castle - was inherited by his son, Antoni Morski, who would later become the castellan of Lviv; the transfer of property was confirmed by the division of assets performed in 1744. After the death of Antoni Morski in 1776, the manor and the castle was inherited by Tadeusz Morski, his son, who remained the owner thereof until 1808. The north-western roundel, which survives to this day, was built on a circular floor plan with a diameter of 12 metres and had four storeys with embrasures in its walls as well as a conical roof. During the second half of the 19th century, the most dilapidated sections of the castle were demolished; from that point onwards, the castle stood abandoned and began to crumble. The south wing of the castle was finally demolished in 1929. Apart from the north-western roundel, parts of the western wing of the castle which used to serve as living quarters have also survived.

The castle is located by the river Mleczka, on the western side of the road leading from Helusz to Pruchnik, on marshy lowlands; the castle is surrounded by a moat and a pond. The remaining parts of the castle are the ruins of a brick and stone north-western fortified tower, built on a circular floor plan, as well as the western wing which used to perform residential functions. The castle consists of a cylindrical fortified tower with basement, featuring four storeys, connected to a the cuboid fragment of the western wing of the former fortified manor. The surviving tower, built from split stones and brick, comes equipped with embrasures designed to protect the defending riflemen against enemy fire. The lower section of the tower remains flooded with water. The tower is in a state of progressing decay resulting from its exposure to the elements which causes the walls to crack. This process was delayed using a temporary metal brace installed on the northern side of the tower on the upper storey level. A surviving fragment of a stone curtain wall abuts the fortified tower from the east. A single-storey brick residential building erected in 1929 stands on the spot where the former western wing once stood, abutting the now-defunct south-western tower. The surviving parts of the castle contain no fixtures or fittings whatsoever.
