Empire-style hunting lodge "Pohansko" near Breclav, built in 1811–1812, is one of countless architectural monuments of the UNECSO World heritage site "Lednice-Valtice Cultural Landscape" in South Moravia region of the Czech Republic. http://waymarking.com/ Empire chateau is a symmetrical building with ground floor, arcaded wings. A buttress is found in the central part with a one-storey extension, which is dominated by long loges with a full parapet enclosed by 12 Ionic columns. Under the cornice of the ground floor are round medallions with stucco depicting ancient hunting scenes. Zámeček Pohansko nechal postavit v letech 1811–1812 kníže Jan I. z Lichtenštejna. Návrh stavby vytvořil Josef Hardtmuth a Josef Kornhäusel. V současnosti je zámek majetkem města Břeclavi. V jeho prostorách je od roku 1998 umístěna archeologická expozice břeclavského městského muzea. Jsou zde představeny nálezy z vykopávek stejnojmenného slovanského hradiště, nacházejícího se severovýchodně od zámku. Zámeček Pohansko je stavba obdélníkového půdorysu. Tvoří ji střední patrová budova se symetrickými přízemními trakty po stranách. Celým přízemím procházejí pilířové arkády. V severovýchodním průčelí prvního patra je lodžie s dvanácti iónskými sloupy. Fasáda je zdobena kruhovými medailony a obdélníkovými reliéfy s loveckými výjevy. Jejich autorem byl pravděpodobně vídeňský sochař Josef Klieber.
