The castle was built on a hill above the river Zbytenka. In the second half of the XVII century. along the south wall, built a two-story baroque palace. Since 1802 the castle became the property Sosnowski, who continued its development, including building was built along the western wall, reconstructed northern corner tower, turning it into a chapel. To lock housing used in 1939 during World War II the castle suffered considerable damage.
