 The castle is situated in the village Sidorov Husiatyn area on a hill that bordered on three sides by the river land. 
  
Precise data on the timing of the castle have been identified. However, there is reason to believe (based on the character of the building), the first phase of construction of the castle could fall in the second half of the XVI century. In 40 years of XVII century. strengthening rebuilding crown hetman Michael Kalinowski, who was then the owner of the castle. 
  
Castle had 7 towers and rather elongated from north to south form. It was badly damaged during the Turkish invasion of 1672, then restored, but with the beginning of XVIII century lost its defensive significance, decline and gradually destroyed until the present time.

The southeastern part of the castle is completely destroyed. The best preserved north-western part of the building. Once in 1515 Kamyanetsky mayor Stanislav Lyantskoronsky became the owner of the castle, his descendants starostuvaly Rock in the beginning of XVIII century. When Lyantskoronsky the castle has almost doubled. Appended to the existing reinforcement area was surrounded by Cape defensive walls and on the isthmus built four-tower.
