Having received into his possession of Izjaslav Prince Sangushko late XVII - poch.XVIII century. building on the hill right bank of the river Horyn estate, which includes the palace with arcade gallery and outbuildings, bridge and church of St. Joseph Monastery for Catholic missionaries. Sangushky princes, who owned many estates not only in the county but also in Volhynia, played perhaps the prominent role in politics then the Commonwealth, namely Izyaslav located on roads that pass from West to East to the Russian Empire had some political and economic importance. In the palaces of princes Sanguszko in 1711 was the Russian Emperor Peter the Great. He then negotiated with the Polish king Stanislaw August for the joint conduct of the war against Turkey.
