At the beginning of XVIII century. Tulchin becomes the property of the Potocki family, one of the richest and most noble families of Poland. The Grand testimonials become a two-story palace of Stanislaw Potocki, which was built in 1782 in the classical style.

Designed by French architect palace La Croix, the inner workings of the Dutch Merckx, the creator of the park "Good" was Miller. The palace was covered with a copper roof, consisting of the main two-storey building with decorated front entrance to 10 columns of 8 pilasters, and then the two side buildings in the same style. With the main body side structures connected by glass galleries.

During the Potocki Palace was one of the largest estates in Europe. It contained an art gallery with works by famous masters of European painted Van Dick, Titian, Mole wound, Van der Helsta, lamps, from the library of 17,000 volumes of the best examples of world culture, printing, rare ancient coins, large silver crockery, glass collection cups, the best team of skilled Ukrainian embroidery, carving, painting and crafts genre.

According to legend, in the dungeons of the Palace of Potocki family kept their treasures. Contemporaries Potocki also talked about alchemists who supposedly made gold - not the other way local people could not explain the origin of millions of Potocki.

Archaeologists have repeatedly tried to infiltrate an underground empire Potocki, but failed. Much more is written about the tunnel that connected the palace of the Count and the church of the Dominican monastery, located on a hill in the center of Tulchin.
