Description

When choosing a place of residence, the owner of the palace looked for places with history

By 1793 the town Murovanye Kurylivtsi was owned by the family Kosakivsky nobles. The last owner of Kosakivsky - Katharina (nee Potocki) had opposed the policy of Stanislaw August Poniatowski, and was a supporter of the Bar Confederation. After the Countess Katharina Kosakivsky refused to swear allegiance to the Empress Catherine II, her estate was confiscated and given to property landlord mosquitoes.

When choosing a place of residence, Stanislav Mosquito sought places with history. I think he was rescued from an old castle all that could: high walls on the north, east and south sides, underground vaulted casemates - and escarpment, which survived more or less intact to this day. On the west side at the beginning of the nineteenth century. were only fragments of the foundations of the fortress.

During the construction of the castle walls were not taken any solution or cement. New levels connecting stones so that belonged to the upper wedge recess bottom.

Not preserved the name of the architect who planned kurylivetskyy Palace. In the late nineteenth century. building was rebuilt new Russian owners, but the main features of the building are preserved (symmetrical, rectangular plan, two floors of the courtyard and three - from the park, etc.).

width = 1Zavdyaky midorytu M.Podolinskoho made to 1820r., it is known that the restructuring of the roof of the palace was flat and decorated with either sculptures or decorative pots. He was then and is now non-existent portico with four Ionic columns. Since the 1870s, as seen in the engravings Belarusian artist and traveler Napoleon Orda, portico locked smooth triangular pediment.

Park facade had (and has) a monumental character. He and the higher the floor. The lower floor was a gallery (now there are all sorts of workers closet and utility room boarding). At the time S.Komara here for the summer exhibited a variety of exotic plants in the wine - that landlords have nice blooming garden in front of windows. In the columns of this gallery is a solid iron balcony balustrade. The central part of the facade is decorated with wall columns of the Ionic order.

From 1939 to the estate is a children's orphanage.
