Yaniv castle - the castle ruins in Dolyna village Terebovlya district, Ternopil region.
It is located on a hill near the church. It was built at the expense of Jan Golski - founder of the city Yanov in the shape of rectangle. Damaged in several places walls with loopholes still surround the church and are actually remains of old fortifications. The walls were fortified by towers at the corners, of which north tower is still preserved. This is a powerful, circular building with six small windows. Its top floor was demolished, and the first tier in almost completely covered with earth and turned into a cellar. Locals call it "the Polish gunpowder storehouse."
Then the castle of Jan Golski became the property of Bogush. In 1675 the castle was captured and destroyed by the Turks.
In the XVIII the castle Jan Golski became the possession Bohush, in which the saltpeter factory was established.
