Description

The manor is a multi-storey block building with distinctive corner prismatic towers with a mansard roof. We can see Renaissance sgraffito on the corners. The windows have Renaissance stone shutters. There is an arched passage on the axis of the manor house, from which a baroque staircase leads to the first floor. The building has been renovated and is used for various corporate events.

History

The manor house was built in 1685 (preserved data on a cartouche on the chimney) and its construction is attributed to the Motešický family. Originally, the manor house was fortified and had only one floor. In 1792, after reconstruction, the second floor was added and the building was remodeled in the Baroque style. The building stands on the former Czech Road, which was a major artery of commerce in the past.

In 1846 the manor house was acquired by Prince Alfred Windischgrätz and after 1919 by František Černušek. It remained in his possession until the 1950s.

The complex was renovated in the years 2008 to 2013 to its current form by a private investor. The main building has been preserved, a new, former riding hall has been built for the staff, transformed into a building with a large banquet hall, wellness areas with saunas, a relaxation room, a swimming pool and accommodation facilities upstairs.
