The entrance to the manor is in the east wing and above the entrance gate is the coat of arms of the Stummer family. The manor also includes a chapel in the west wing at the height of the ground floor and first floor and a park in its vicinity. The facades of the building are divided by risalits, a tower and bastions. The windows originally had stone shutters, but most of the windows were remodeled. In the rooms there are ridge cross and barrel vaults with lunettes. The manor serves as a facility for social services.
Originally a Renaissance fortified manor house, it was built in about 1650 by Juraj Berényi, the feudal owner of Horné Obdokoviec. The manor was the main seat of the family until the second half of the 19th century. The four-wing floor plan of the manor house and the year of its construction indicate that it was originally built mainly for defensive purposes. According to historical maps, in the 18th century there was a moat with a drawbridge around the manor house, at its western entrance.
The manor got its present shape through reconstructions, especially in the Classicist style in the 18th century, at the beginning of the 19th century (1804) and at the beginning of the 20th century, when Alexander Stummer became the owner of the manor. The manor also includes a chapel in the west wing at the height of the ground floor and first floor. It was built in 1804 by order of Sigismund Berényi and his wife Julia Pongrácz.
In the 20th century, several inappropriate modifications were made and in 1946 the building was confiscated. It has been used for social purposes since 1950, and since 1986 it has housed social services homes.
