Originally, the manor house had the character of a fortified building and was surrounded by a moat. It is a two-storey building on a rectangular floor plan with two corner round towers. During further construction work, its appearance was changed to the Classicist style with lysines (vertical protrusions on the front of the building without a head and foot) and a medium risalit. The original layout of the building is partially preserved in rooms with rolled lunette vaults. Around the building, the remains of a former park with a terraced moat have been preserved.The building has been renovated and serves as a prestigious restaurant and guest house.

The manor is originally a Renaissance building. It is two-storey with a cellar and has a floor plan of the irregular U type and has a two-wing layout. There are two corner towers on the front wing. In the middle of the front wing, an entrance portico with a balcony was added. It was baroqued in the 18th century.The interior has partially preserved the Renaissance cross vaults and a lunette vault with a stucco pattern. There is a re-education facility in the manor.

Chalmová

The manor is a four-winged building with round corner towers. It has a two-wing ground floor with a neo-Gothic chapel, accessible by a richly designed portal. On the second floor are representative rooms with carved wooden ceilings, wood-paneled walls and model parquet floors. There is a romantic knight's hall with busts of knights on the walls. In the interior, the tapestry is placed in a ceremonial hall, representing the king sitting on a throne, surrounded by a number of figures. There is a relief portrait of Baron Thonet from 1904 by P. Breithut from Vienna.Today, the manor belongs to the descendant of the original owners, Flavius Thonet, who is gradually repairing it. A part of the manor house should be a museum of Thonet furniture, the chapel and a park should be accessible in the future.

Veľké Uherce

The three-winged building is characterized by smooth walls with a high attic and corner towers, which are at the same height as the attic of the building. The entrance portal had the original drawbridge. The side entrance has a disturbed tympanum.There are barrel vaults with lunettes in the rooms. In 2015, the manor underwent a comprehensive renovation. Exterior and interior plasters were modified, windows, doors, floors were replaced, sanitary facilities were built in it and sanitary ware was installed. The manor offers the opportunity to see an exhibition on the history of Zemianske Kostoľany.

Zemianske Kostoľany

The mansion is a two-storey one-wing building with an entrance tower. It has a rectangular floor plan with dimensions of 26.7 x 9.6 m, from which protrudes a square floor plan of the tower. On the northwest side of the building are the remains of a smaller niche, which is connected to the portal of the headquarters.The interior layout on both floors is dominated by the division into three main rooms. In the main rectangular tract as well as in the entrance tower there are visible traces of Gothic building style.

Šimonovany

The irregular four-wing floor plan of the manor is the result of the gradual expansion of the original Gothic core, which has been preserved in the form of a block of two-storey fortified tower buildings with corner squares on the facades. Renaissance sgraffito has been partially preserved on the outbuildings. The corner building at the entrance had three small round bastions, which served as supporting pillars from the time of romantic alterations. The stone Renaissance entrance portal had a drawbridge. During the Baroque alterations around the middle of the 18th century, the courtyard buildings were united by an arcade.The Gothic fortress forms the core of the manor and has preserved the original vaults and fireplaces. The Renaissance rooms have mesh ridge and cross vaults with stucco geometric and plant ornaments. Many Renaissance architectural details have been preserved. The stately room upstairs has a late Baroque, richly designed stucco interior with acanthus and plant ornaments.

Diviacka Nová Ves

At present, almost nothing remains of the castle. We can only see very modest remnants of the castle, indicating at least its size. The oldest and probably the only residential part consisted of a four-sided tower and a palace, which were modified in the 16th century.The perimeter walls of the prismatic tower of the inner castle were also devastated and only the remains of the masonry were preserved from the third main gate. It is worth thinking about the fact that the already collapsed castle was dismantled by the local population for building materials, as evidenced by the small buildings in the village.

Sivý Kameň (Graystone)

Massive prismatic tower building with a modernist facade. There were ramparts around it in the distant past. On the north side of the building are preserved parts of the Gothic consoles from the original gallery. The cellar is vaulted on the middle column. During the renaissance renovation, the corners were decorated with false sgraffito.In the 20th century, the building was rebuilt into a residential house. The internal layout has been completely rebuilt.

Žabokreky nad Nitrou

The castle with a triangular floor plan was delimited by a stone wall with three corner bastions. It was a tall triangular tower at the front, a smaller prismatic tower in the southwest and at the highest point stood the supposed tower-like residential building - the donjon. Later, a late Romanesque chapel with an emporium was added. In the 15th century, a new palace was added along the NE wall and a cistern in the courtyard. At the end of the Middle Ages, a brick forecourt was built and only then was the castle expanded by an extensive fortification. Access to the castle was provided by a bridge over the moat and the gate was protected by an oval cannon bastion. During further renaissance reconstructions of the castle, the late Gothic palace was increased, residential tracts were added, which lost the tower dominants and a height-balanced complex was created. The defensive capacity of the castle was increased by the defensive porch. The castle was a reliable refuge in times of Turkish danger, but it was destroyed by fire in the 18th century.In 1995, the cleaning of the castle began, later archaeological research was carried out, and gradually from the beginning of the 21st century, the statics and strengthening of the walls were provided. The original entrance to the castle by the bridge was restored, the cistern was cleaned, the farm building was completed and reconstructed, the palace was roofed, the collapsed vault in the palace was reconstructed and a huge piece of work was done there. Since 2015, the Uhrovec Castle Civic Association has been operating at the castle, and it still performs reconstruction work at the castle in an exceptional way and using original methods.

Uhrovec

Four round defensive towers standing on each corner protrude from the rectangular floor plan. There were key shooting ranges on the ground floor of all the bastions. The shooting ranges were seldom equipped with vents, which opened onto the facade and provided ventilation of the gunpowder. The outer rooms of the ground floor were vaulted with barrel lunette vaults, but the original vaults of the manor have not been preserved. From the middle room, one staircase to the first floor and another stone staircase led to the vaulted cellar through the beamed ceiling. The conversion into a granary turned the renaissance windows into reduced ventilation openings.After the restoration carried out in the years 1977-1981, the village uses the manor as a ceremonial hall and for cultural purposes.

Klátova Nová Ves

The mansion was built in the 17th century probably on the site of an older Gothic fortress, although construction-historical research has shown that the building does not have Gothic foundations, but looking at the depth of research does not exclude the existence of the previous Gothic type or castle.The mansion was originally Renaissance, but in the 19th century it was rebuilt in the style of a medieval Romanesque castle. In the middle of the mansion was once a ceremonial hall where celebrations and banquets were organized. It was adorned with magnificent arches that stretched to the top of the tower. The fortified core was closed by another building. Several towers grew on it, including the corner tower of Nebojsa, surrounded by a moat and equipped with a drawbridge.
