The ruins of the castle of knights Tropsztyn of the fourteenth century. It was built on a hill on the left bank of the Dunajec in the fourteenth century by Gierałtów-Ośmiorogów. The first mention of it comes from 1390 years when it was owned by the Knights of the family coat of arms Chebdów Starykoń. In their hands it remained until 1535 years when it was sold to Peter Kmicie was then uninhabited. In 1581 it belonged to sips and in the eighteenth century to the Zborowski. Preserved fragments of the outer walls and the ruins of a four-sided tower. In 1997 the tower was rebuilt in the course of archaeological research. 
In the last years of the twentieth century, the castle fell into private hands and is currently working on rebuilding it come to an end. Castle walls are already open to the public, but to finish the interior have to wait until next year.

On a hill towering over Czchów and the picturesque Dunajec Valley, there looms a formidable tower. From the top, a commanding view stretches across the green of the hill and the valley, with its ribbon of the river, the dam and Lake Czchowskie. The cylindrical tower, with its imposing walls, several metres thick, was build in the late 13th century in order to control the vital trade route running along the Dunajec. During the next century, a modest castle sprung up around the tower. Endowed by Władysław the Elbow-High, it served as the seat for Czchów’s Starosta, the royal official. However, the building was abandoned in the 18th century and soon fell into ruin. All that has survived till today is the oldest section, in other words, the tower itself. Recent years have seen the reconstruction of small sections of the walls and the little house occupied by the guard, where an exhibition is now on display, together with a three-dimensional model of the castle reconstruction. 
Around Czchów town square and the neighbouring side streets, original buildings, mainly dating back to the 18th century, can be seen. In some of the houses, arcades, supported on wooden columns, have survived. Beside the square stands a valuable example of historical, sacred architecture, the Gothic Church of the Birth of the Blessed Virgin Mary, with relics of a 12th century Romanesque church.

Castle Czchów

Wisnicz Castle was built around the middle of the fourteenth century, probably at the initiative of John Kmity and references in the documents began to appear at the end of the fourteenth century. The original castle is probably the only rectangular perimeter defensive walls with dimensions of 30x50 meters with a square tower at the corner of the east. It is possible that there was also a round tower in the corner of the north. Economic and residential buildings were wooden. 
At the turn of the fifteenth and sixteenth century, it was already four-and had three towers and fortifications surrounding earth with two gates. After 1516 years Piotr Kmita, the most prominent representative of this family, and one of the most prominent lay people of his time, extended the castle. All residential wings were raised by one floor and dostawiono fourth corner tower, but rather artillery territory of the bastion. For external walls of the south-east wing was built a large building, and the defense system was modernized by replacing the partial wall, while the western gate of the courtyard of the castle grounds was converted into the territory of the bastion. North entrance was fortified bastion. 
After the death of Peter Kmity in 1553 became the property Barzów and later Stadnickich. In 1593 by the estate was bought by Sebastian Lubomirski. In the years 1615-1621 expansion mansion took his son Stanislaw. Project Baroque reconstruction and fortification bastion developed for him by Maciej Trapola. 
During the Swedish invasion Stanislaw Lubomirski wanting to save the destruction of the most powerful Polish fortress surrendered it to the Swedes. Army, however, stripped the castle with all the equipment and devastated buildings. After the withdrawal of the invaders castle returned to the ownership of the Lubomirski, but in spite of the work has not been fully restored. In the middle of the eighteenth century became the property of Sanguszkos, then Potocki and Zamoyski. After the takeover by the conqueror castle began to decline, and in 1831 years has fire and was eventually abandoned. In 1901 the castle was bought by the union of ancestral Lubomirski, who started the renovation of the mansion. Since 1928 works were directed by Adolf Szyszko-Bohusz, but were abandoned after the outbreak of the Second World War. After the war the castle was taken over by the state, and since 1949 works were carried out to restore his completely original appearance, which led Alfred Majewski. At the end of the twentieth century the castle was returned to the ownership of the Lubomirski.

Castle in New Wisnicz

Dębno Castle is a late Gothic complex, built in 1470 - 1480 by Chancellor of the Crown and Kasztelan of Kraków, Jakub Dębiński (also known as Jakub z Dębna), in the southern Polish village of Dębno. It is located a few hundred meters south of the international European route E40.
Before stone castle was built, a complex made of wood and earth had existed on the location. It probably belonged to komes Świętoslaw of the noble Gryfita family, Kasztelan of Wiślica. Some time in the mid-14th century, Dębno passed into the hands of the influential Odrowąż family, to which Jakub z Dębna, founder of the castle, belonged. In 1586 the castle was rebuilt in Renaissance style, and at that time it belonged to a Hungarian nobleman Ferenc Wesselini, secretary of King Stephen Báthory. In the late 18th century, another remodeling took place, ordered by the Tarło family, who were then-owners of the castle. Tarło coat of arms and the date 1772 can still be seenon baroque portal. Also, at that time, a part of the northern wing of the castle was added.
Throughout the years, Dębno castle changed hands several times. It belonged to a number of noble Polish families - Lanckoroński, Rogowski, Rudnicki, Spławski (who in 1831 hosted there refugees of the November Uprising), Jastrzębski. Even though owners carried out numerous remodeling projects, the castle did not change its original look. It today consists of four rectangular segments, which make an internal, rectangular courtyard with a well. The gate goes through a Baroque portal. Lavlishly furnished rooms on upper floors were occupied by owners, while domestic workers lived on ground floor. The castle used to be surrounded by a moat, now, there is a permanent wooden bridge leading to the gate.
In 1945, the castle was taken over by the government of Poland, and between 1970–1978, it was renovated. Since 1978, Dębno castle has been home to a branch of Tarnów Regional Museum.

Dębno Castle

Now there are fortified manor house, but it was built on the site of a Gothic castle in 1530. Mansion built Wieruszyccy Szreniawa coat of stone and brick. The whole has a square plan of the tower in the north-eastern corner. In 1983, he began to lead renovations.
