Wojnowice are mentioned in sources from the thirteenth century, in the fifteenth century there existed defense establishment bourgeois families of Wroclaw. Construction gained then made of sandstone window frames and portal gate, roofs crowned with stepped gables and arches erected in the courtyard. At the gate stands the slender square tower. In this form, the castle has survived to the present, the reconstruction carried out in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries has not changed its appearance. As a result of the reconstruction of the nineteenth century, the drawbridge was replaced by a brick arcade.
