The ruins of the castle of knights Pilica built by the family Majkowskis in the mid-sixteenth century. Was erected on a square plan with a cylindrical turret corner. The further fate of the castle are not documented. Today in this place are the only remnants of stone and brick walls of the basement.

At the edge of the village there is the picturesque ruins of a small object, commonly known as the castle, which served as a fortification of family Bakov Zadora coat of arms. Its founder was Zbigniew Senior or Junior Zbigniew son. It is believed that the castle was built in the first half of the XV century. During this period Bąkowa Góra was the center of possessions, including several villages and Bakov family members were one of the closest associates of King Wladyslaw Jagiello.
   The building was built on a rectangular plan with dimensions 14x30. In the longer ledges, which probably served as the eastern entrance. Later the building was destroyed, and it is impossible to recreate the exact original form.There is discussion among historians, how to define this building, as a castle or rather fortification. The absence of an external wall indicates that the second option is more likely. However, archaeological research revealed some interesting details. The most important of is the thickness of walls. They are made of local sandstone and its thickness is more than 3.5 meters. This shows that it was possible residential tower defense, which had 4 floors. Perhaps a more detailed study will give a clear answer.
   After the death of Zbigniew Bak in 1489, his estate was divided between other families. At the turn of XVII century was the reconstruction of the estate. Found restored details show that the object received more presentable appearance, maybe it was reduced by one floor. The mansion was uninhabited until the eighteenth, then abandoned and turned into ruins.
   Today, remnants of the former residence of the family Bakov are privately owned. Ruins, cleared of bushes and partly from fragments, are an interesting example of a small medieval fortifications.
