Laskowice Castle was built in the mid-sixteenth century by Johann von Prittwitz, to which the family of the village belonged fourteenth century. In the early seventeenth century as a dowry became the property of the family von Saurma-Jeltsch, who had their headquarters at the castle in nearby Jelcz. In 1650 he left among the ruined castle in Jelcz and moved to Laskowice. 
In 1779, Baron Johann Franz von Saurma-Jeltsch laskowicki rebuilt castle on a magnificent palace. For 1813 years was still ancestral seat of the family. In the nineteenth century, was rebuilt several times, and after the Second World War has been adapted for use in farming facility of the National Academy of Sciences. The castle in Bierutów (former name: Bernstadt) was probably built in the 13th century at the initiative of Henry III the White, duke of Wrocław. The Gothic building was built on a rectangular plan. On the east side there was the residential (part), while a tower on a  square plan was constructed on the north side. The fortress flourished in the 16th century at the time of duke Henry II of Poděbrady. Thanks to his efforts, the castle was renovated in the Renaissance style between 1534 and 1540. In the first half of the 17th century, after a fire in 1603, the castle was rebuilt at the time of Henry Wenclaus Poděbrady. A two-winged structure was then created. The building was then renovated in the late 17th century, when it was owned by Christian Urlich Wirtemberg. An additional storey was built on, a Baroque portal was constructed in the south wing and on the west side a decorative gate was built. Gardens were created around the residence. In the late 18th century the building, with slight traces of damage, passed into the hands of the forest inspectorate. In the 19th century the castle was repeatedly rebuilt. In 1829 and 1852 the ruined porches were replaced with wooden ones. In 1899 the already damaged west wing of the building was demolished, while the north wing was completely renovated. During World War II the building did not suffer significant damage. After 1945 the castle housed, among others, the Forest Inspectorate of Bierutów, a kindergarten, apartments for forestry workers and the headquaretrs of the Municipal Enterprise for Communal Management (MPGK). Today the castle in Bierutów houses private apartments, the forestry headquarters and a blood donation centre. There are plans to establish the municipal headquarters and other municipal cultural institutions in the castle. A tower, square at the lower levels and octagonal high up, with a two-cupola dome; defensive walls and the Baroque entrance gate have been preserved. The southern building from the original establishment, with a cartouche with a coat of arms of the dukes of Wirtenberg-Oleśnica has also survived to this day. The interior elements which have survived are: the original stairs and a room with stucco decorations.

Castle in Bierutów

Kasztelański city wood-gas existed in nica certainly already in the early thirteenth century. The first element of brick was erected within its fortifications at the turn of the thirteenth and fourteenth century cylindrical tower with a diameter of 11 meters. At the beginning of the fourteenth century was created principality Olesnicki, therefore the seat of the dukes had to be developed. He did this before the middle of the fourteenth century Duke Konrad I raising a large castle on a plan similar to a square the side of which almost 50 meters, which have the main wing houses along the north-west curtain walls and smaller wing at the south-western curtain. In the corner of the south was a four-sided tower, a cylindrical tower located at the corner of East defended the entrance located in the north-eastern curtain. The castle was within the city's fortifications, but was also surrounded by the town moat. Construction work on the first assumption was even taken before the end of the fourteenth century. 
After 1492, after the death of the last of the princes of Oleśnica castle was in the hands of Czech. In 1542 Duke John of Podiebrad began rebuilding Renaissance house in the transformation of the north-west wing. Later, according to the design of Francis Parra was erected east of the castle walls a new wing, called the house of widows, and a cylindrical tower was extended with ośmiobocznie and crowned with a Renaissance helmet. Another Prince Charles II mansion Podiebrad expanded in the years 1585-1610, and the work was hired architect Bernard Niuron. When the cylindrical tower built two new wings - first south-east, then north-east of the entrance gate, which was connected with the house of widows. The whole premise was surrounded by modern earth bastion fortifications. 
In the years 1613-1616 covered porch was built, connecting the castle with the parish church, where there was a princely lodge. Minor construction work suitable decoration elements of Baroque castle was carried out during the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, and in the nineteenth century was rebuilt wing of the north-east. In the years 1896-1901 the castle was restored, the leading work J.Maas decided to restore the appearance of the Renaissance. 
During World War II unaccompanied castle declined slightly, but the reconstruction in the years 1970-1976 restored to its former glory. In the castle were a museum and other cultural institutions.

Castle in Olesnica

Brzeg Castle is located in Brzeg, Opole Voivodeship, within the Silesia region of Poland. Now a museum, the structures includes the Piast dynasty mausoleum.
Brzeg Castle is located on a cliff to the west of the Oder River, in the city of Brzeg on the border of Lower Silesian Voivodeship and the Opole Voivodeship provinces in southwestern Poland. It is situated near the national road 39 between Namysłów and Strzelin.
Earliest reports of the castle's existence describe a small fortress with a moat and fortified walls, built in 1235 during the reign of Henry I the Bearded. A square tower known as "The Tower of Lions" was built adjoining the castle. The Piast family branch, which ruled over Duchy of Brzeg, lived in the castle between 1311 until 1675. In 1342, the castle was made the capital seat of the duchy after which it was refurbished many times. In 1370, Prince Ludwik I extended the castle and constructed its chapel which includes the Piast dynasty mausoleum. During Frederick II of Legnica's reign in 1544, more buildings were added to the castle, with the construction completed in 1560. The additions were in the form of two new buildings, a large courtyard enclosing the buildings and an ambulatory. Additional structures built during this period included a tower gate which was the entrance to the structure. Busts of the Piast princes were part of the gate's decor. Modifications in design were from the Gothic style fort to the Renaissance type of architecture in Silesia.
In 1741, the castle was destroyed by the Prussian forces in the First Silesian War, during which the ruins were used as a warehouse for the Prussian Army. After the war, the town — called Brieg in German — with most of Silesia was annexed from Austria to Prussia. Brieg remained in Prusso-German possession until most of Silesia was transferred to Poland in 1945.
During a fire in 1801, there was further damage to the castle. In 1920, reconstruction of the abandoned castle began, but during World War II, damage to the castle was quite extensive. The castle was rebuilt in Renaissance style during 1966–78 and again from 1980–94. It currently serves as the Museum of the Silesian Piasts (Muzeum Piastów Śląskich).
The rebuilt castle is also called "The Silesian Wawel". It was rebuilt by Jakub Parr, Franciscus Pahr, and Bernard Niuron from Italy. Its present facade is known as "one of the most magnificent historical monument of the Renaissance period in Central Europe". The courtyard has been restored with triple story galleries. The interior of some rooms in the eastern wing, which are in the Renaissance style on the ground floor, are well preserved.
The museum, which is part of the castle, has exhibits which trace the history of the Silesian Piasts. Some of the notable paintings exhibited are from a collection of the National Museum of Wrocław and paintings of Michael Leopold Wilmann, a well known Silesian Baroque painter. The museum also has well-preserved sarcophaguses of the dukes of Legnica and Brzeg. Dating to the 14th century, Poland's only "perfectly preserved medieval hunting bow" is an archeological find from excavations at Brzeg's Mleczna Street.


Brzeg Castle

The beginnings of the town Dobra are from the 13th to the 14th centuries. Dobra was located near the old and very important trade route, leading from Wroclaw through Syców and Kalisz to Torun. On April 14, 1631, the Prince of Ziębice-Olesnica, Karl Friedrich Podiebrad, started the construction of the castle (the cornerstone). The castle was built by the princes of the Piasts, who founded the castle complex in nearby Oleśnica.

Already on September 29, 1632, it was completed, and since the name of the founder changed the name of the settlement to Carlsbad (castle Charles). In 1633 the castle was "decorated" with a high defensive tower. What was the building that was built at the backwaters of the river of Dobra? Probably the entrance was decorated with a rich cartouche with the Prince's coat of arms, analogous to that of the Olešnice castle gate. The typical earthen walls were covered by the building.

In 1647, in the book of baptism of the church in Dobra is castellan (castle administrator) Georg Neugeburg. In 1727, Prince Carl Friedrich von Wittemberg-Oels, reigning in Oleśnica in 1707-1737, leased the castle together with the farm and the farm adjacent to him, to one Wenceslaus Sturz.

After his death, he took over the lease, his son-in-law Thomas Baldowski. Oleic Oils bordered on native Polish terrains, eg the Mindy district. Baldowski died on April 14, 1775, after he inherited the lease, also son-in-law, Carl Friedrich Reitsch, whose daughter was released as Prince Amtsrat (Amtsrat) Wilhelm Seeliger, who then moved to Dobroszyc (died May 14, 1810). From 1798 to 8 XI 1803 the tenant was Caspar Balthasar Jäckel. Then Johan Friedrich Hüber and Johan Friedrich Züchner until 1826. After his death Karl Wilhelm Seeling and his son-in-law took over after him, also a prince's official, in 1850-59 he also ruled Opelnu and Neugarten.

The court performed various functions. An unnecessary prince family housed a granary, warehouse, inn. Some report that also the Prince's archive (perhaps only in times of wars). The fact that at the court since 1675 housed the residence of the widow, he has not been confirmed by reliable historians.

The next tenant of the estate was Edwin Seelinger, who died unconditionally in 1905. Over these years, both Dominas (Dobra and Karlsburg) were in the possession of one family. Lutsch in 1889 states that the manor was already a ruined granary (Schüttboden). Then he took over the lease of Kurt Fischer (1881-1918) from Sorau / Zary. Probably killed in an unfortunate accident. He was buried in the cemetery in Dobra. His grave has survived to the present day.

Kurt Fischer, known as superintendent of fiefdoms, the last tenant of Karlsburg, initiated the rebuilding of the manor in 1909-1910. The authors of the catalog of monuments say that the project was made by the Berlin architect Struckmann, and the work was led by architect Templin. This fact is confirmed by the authors of the catalog of monuments, without providing any sources. Shortly after the death of her husband, Carolla married D. Renner, the Dragon's captain, who served in the church and in the veteran organization founded in 1924. In September 1930, after the sale of the estate, the Renner family moved to Wroclaw and the captain initiated Building of the statue of the Count von Ritshofen's captain. His two sons fell on the front of World War II. After the war, the castle served as House Repatriant, and then acted as the House of Creative Work. The castle also housed a rural school.

In 1994 the castle went into private hands.
