Description

Laskowice Castle was built in the mid-sixteenth century by Johann von Prittwitz, to which the family of the village belonged fourteenth century. In the early seventeenth century as a dowry became the property of the family von Saurma-Jeltsch, who had their headquarters at the castle in nearby Jelcz. In 1650 he left among the ruined castle in Jelcz and moved to Laskowice.

In 1779, Baron Johann Franz von Saurma-Jeltsch laskowicki rebuilt castle on a magnificent palace. For 1813 years was still ancestral seat of the family. In the nineteenth century, was rebuilt several times, and after the Second World War has been adapted for use in farming facility of the National Academy of Sciences.
