Castle is located in Chernina Gorna in Lower Silesia in gorowski area in the municipality of Gora.
Schyrnino village was mentioned in documents in 1308 year. It was in the church warehouse property. Construction of the castle began in the late XIV - early XV century by miedzyrzecki castellan John from Chernin emblem of Vyezhbno. After his death in 1423, the castle took his son Jocusch Von der Czyrne, but seven years later sold the estate to someone named Magnus von Label. Around 1492 the castle with the adjacent property fell into the hands of the family von Dohna. The city gained priviledged status with their efforts by Wladyslaw Jagiello. In 1538 Henry VII von Dohna sold estate and city background to Stosch brothers from Mojęcic whose descendants have expanded and strengthened the city. In the XVII century the town was repeatedly witnessed fighting armies Danish, Swedish and Prussian. It was also ruled by pox. At the end of the XVII century. The castle was rebuilt in Baroque residence Abrahama von Stosch background. He died childless, leaving the residence to his older sister Jadwiga Helena. After her death in 1703, the city passed into the hands of family background Lestwitz. The castle had changed owners several times: Adam Melchior, Jerzy Abraham i Karol Rudolf. Charles Rudolph died Aug. 9, 1803, leaving no offspring. He left his estate to the Society of Evangelical Virgins, their main task was to teach young girls home care. The organization contributed to the development of education in the neighboring villages. It lasted until the end of World War II. The house survived the war intact after it was nationalized. Some time was populated by employees of the State Agricultural Farms. In 50 years of XX century, it was abandoned, and its property - stolen. Forgotten in the next decade, he turned into a ruin.

There is a training center in the palace. This palace was built on the foundations of a Gothic castle built in the fifteenth century by John of blackberries in a square with an inner courtyard. Originally surrounded by a wall and a moat, was probably destroyed in the XVI-XVII century. New castle in its place erected Rafal Leszczynski at the end of the seventeenth century, but was again destroyed during the Great Northern War in 1707. When lifting it from the ravages of war it was rebuilt and expanded in the years 1743-1745 by Prince Joseph Sulkowski on a baroque palace. It was designed by architect Pompeo Ferrari on a square plan. Then, in the years 1766-1790 was rebuilt in neoclassical style. Renovated in 1923. Then burned in 1945. Was rebuilt after the war.

Castle in Rydzyn

The medieval castle was built probably in the fifteenth century. Rebuilt several times, among others, in the sixteenth, eighteenth century and the last in 1924. Currently, the two-leaf covered with gable roofs. Has the corners two round towers. On the ground floor are preserved several halls covered with vaults.

The palace in Rokosowo near Leszno, because of its appearance sometimes called a castle, is a great example of a residential edifice erected according to the mid-19th century fashion. It was built in 1847 by Fryderyk August Stüller for count Mycielski, in a truly medieval fashion. Until today, not only a three-storey body of the castle but also huge towers which flank it are quite impressive. After the Mycielskis, in 1867 Rokosowo went into the hands of the Czartoryskis and remained their property until the outbreak of the WW2. Today the castle, surrounded by a 10-hectare beautiful park, hosts the European Integration Centre of the Marshall’s Office in Wielkopolska Province but also other, various conferences and events take place here.

Rokosowo Palace

The first mention of the castle dates from 1472 years. Since the beginning of the settlement until 1512 years the estate was owned by Borek it is they have to erect a castle. It was built probably Maciej Borko, who died in 1452, although some researchers estimate that the lock could occur as early as the end of the fourteenth century, and Teresa Jakimowicz involves the construction of a rather zz third quarter of the fifteenth century. After Opaliński castle was still in possession of Gajewskich and Skorzewski. In 1752 the castle was carried out inventory. In 1793, the castle belonged to German families. When in the late nineteenth century, the castle belonged to Heydebrandów, they made another conversion, and in the years 1908-1911 the castle obtained the present form during the reconstruction of the Berlin company Reimer and Körte.

Castle in Osieczna

The first mention of the construction of the castle dates from 1209 year. It was originally surrounded by a moat. The owners of the castle (XV-XIX c.) were the following families: von Zedlitz, von Rechenberg, von Dohna, von Galinski, von Kottwitz, von Nostitz, von Gesseler and others. When in the XVI century, the castle was owned by Georg von Kotvits, its reconstruction began from the defense building to the palace residence in Renaissance style. Defensive walls were left, also another floor was added. On the south side the tower was built on the top, it had a bell placed in it. Nowadays, it is the highest part of the palace, the lowest part - arched cellars. According to legends, one of cellar had a source of the purest water. This is the legend of depraved maid of honor which was turned to golden duck.
The palace was built around a rectangular courtyard with three round towers at the corners and one rectangular tower. On the facades there are Renaissance stone window frames and portals, in Baroque and Renaissance style. In 1905, during the internal repair there was found an old wooden ceiling dating from 1583. The ceilings are covered with frescoes and family coat of arms, that were damaged during the war in 1945. Today, with a new roof, they secured from destruction.
In its history the palace received a lot of famous people. In 1611 in his own palace Leonard von Kottwitz organized a wedding of Chobienian pastor Johan Heermannow, who married a good parishioner Dorota Feige. Of particular note was the visit of the Prussian king Frederick the Great, called the philosopher of Sanssouci, the initiator of the first Polish division. Here, in the rooms of the palace, in 1759 after the defeat at Kunersdorf about Slubice (the biggest defeat of Prussia during the Seven Years War) King visited wounded soldiers. Later there was created a picture of "The King's Speech Frederick the Great in Hobeni." This painting hung in the hall and the town hall and had to remind the words uttered by the ruler of Prussia: "I tell you, my brave soldiers that nothing can divide us but death." Today, this image can be seen at the Museum of Art in Düsseldorf.
