Nowadays the only gate tower, fragments of the bottom of the circuit walls and tower, remained after the former castle. On top of the tower views of the three Lodz, Opole and Wielkopolska provinces reveal.
XIV century tower in Boleslawiec XIV century is a remnant of Kazimierz. It was a very rare defense castle on the plan of polygon of unusual shape. Today it is an attractive tourist destination in the region.
Specifications of the Tower:
- It is a piece of brick external walls of the castle;
- The tower is built of brick;
- It is standing in the back of the yard;
- Was an additional protection;
- In the XX century, the tower was declared as a ruin;
- Is part of a wider archaeological reserve;
- The tower has a height of 22 meters;
- It has octagonal structure with a diameter of 8 meters;
- Inside the tower there are independent stairs that lead to different floors;
- The tower shows panoramic views of the surroundings.
