The remains of the manor preserved to this day in the basement of the palace.
In 1578 a good Baranowskie passed into the possession of Rafal Leszczynski coat of arms Wieniawa in 1579. The castle was founded on a rectangular plan with four cylindrical corner towers and a rectangular gate. From the period Leszczynski, who lived here for over a hundred years old, come from rich stucco, attributed to Giovanni Battista Falconiemu, stored in the vault of the north tower? East.
After 1620 years the castle was surrounded by a fortified bastion, but have not proved useful during the Swedish invasion. Swedes encountered in the spring of 1656 years under Baranov Lithuanian troops led by Paul Sapieha and retreated towards Zawichost.
The last owner of the house Baranowa Leszczynski was the father of future Polish king Stanislaw Leszczynski - Raphael. In 1677, the castle passed into the possession of Dmitri Wiśniowiecki, who reigned here for 1682 years and has not entered during this period no changes. Then the castle fell into the hands of Prince Charles Joseph Lubomirski coat Sreniawa. In 1695 years took up residence on a partial reconstruction and renewal of the interior. The works were commissioned Tylman of Gameren, one of the greatest architects of the then Polish. Lubomirski had a lock for 1720 years, then passed successively through the hands of Prince Paul Sanguszki, Jack Malachowski, Joseph Potocki, Jan Krasicki. In the nineteenth century the castle burned twice. Fire September 24, 1849 years has destroyed priceless castle interior. On 4 and 5 January 1968 there was a formal transfer of the castle in Baranow Sandomierski mines and Undertakings Adaptive Sulphur "Siarkopol" in Tarnobrzeg. In July 1997, the new owner was the Industrial Development Agency Warsaw, which operates to this day.
Today the castle is bustling with culture and tourism.
