The General Council of Corrèze owns the Château de Sédières, and saved the monument from ruin. Its history dates back to the Middle Ages. The construction of the chateau, built by John Boutier is estimated to date from the beginning of the fifteenth century. But in the Renaissance, his great-grand-son, Dominique Sédières, began a transformation of the castle and lent it his name.
Located in an exceptional natural setting in the heart of 130 hectares of forest, the Château de Sédières organises outdoor activities. It's also is a dynamic cultural venue with a program of summer concerts and exhibitions, as part of a festival that attracts the crowds.
