The Château de Fléville is a castle located in the commune of Fléville-devant-Nancy, Meurthe-et-Moselle, in Lorraine, France.
The current structure was completed in 1533 in the French Renaissance style, but includes a donjon built in 1320. Fléville was one of the few châteaux in Lorraine spared by Cardinal Richelieu (acting on the orders of Louis XIII) after the Thirty Years' War.
The Château
Fléville's architecture is mostly typical of the early French Renaissance--however, it includes an unusual balcony running along the entire façade that reflects the influence of Italian architecture of the time on Lorraine. It was built around the ruins of an earlier feudal castle, including a moat that has long since been drained. The entire Château, including the furnished interior, is open to the public and includes several rooms dedicated to the history of Lorraine.
The Lambel family has owned Fléville since 1812. It was designated a historic monument in 1982.

In the late eighteenth century, Bon Prevost, RG Farms Lorraine, built a villa on a hillside. When the Marquis de Vaugiraud bought it in 1856, he gives the appearance of a castle. Residence Edouard Salin (1889-1970) from 1920, metallurgical engineer, archaeologist who should contribute to archaeological excavations of Gallo-Roman sanctuary at Grand, writer, scientist and collector, he bequeathed to the Musée Lorraine, Nancy.
A portion of the park was sold in order to build the Museum of the History of Iron. Montague Chapel in the castle park was listed as historical monuments by an order dated January 22, 1934, the castle itself was recorded December 6, 1957; facades and roofs, as well as its grounds, have assigned January 27, 1958, and finally its dependencies were registered April 7, 1998.

Le Domaine du Charmois, édifié au xviiie siècle par Joseph Gilles, est devenu un espace de coopération entre les associations et les habitants par l'intermédiaire des services de la ville de Vandœuvre-lès-Nancy pour organiser des manifestations.
Historique
Notable de Vandœuvre et peintre de Stanislas, Joseph Gilles dit Provençal achète des terres en 1725 pour y établir une immense demeure entourée d'un parc à la française et de prairies qui constituent un domaine de 15 hectares dont le nom trouve son origine dans une plantation de charmes.
Pendant la Révolution, la propriété du Charmois appartenant à la veuve Lombard est divisée en 5 lots pour être vendue comme bien national. Plusieurs propriétaires se succèdent alors sans entretenir la demeure.
Le manoir actuel est construit en 1892 au milieu d'un parc à l'anglaise de 4 hectares dans lequel se trouve également une ferme pour exploiter les terres voisines.
Les Allemands et les Américains occupent le domaine durant la Seconde Guerre mondiale. De cette occupation date une série de peintures murales dessinées par des prisonniers de guerre allemands. Celles-ci, inventoriées et analysées, sont conservées par le Service du Patrimoine de la Direction régionale des Affaires culturelles (DRAC).
Dès 1981, la ville de Vandœuvre acquiert progressivement le domaine, le parc devient alors public. Le château est restauré en 1986 et la réhabilitation de la ferme débute en 2008.
L'inauguration a lieu le 13 septembre 2014 par le maire de Vandœuvre Stéphane Hablot offrant un lieu de vie, de partage et de tranquillité ouvert aux habitants, aux associations et aux artistes.

Le château d'Art-sur-Meurthe est situé sur la commune d'Art-sur-Meurthe, à 10 km à l'est de Nancy, dans le département de Meurthe-et-Moselle.
Le château fut construit au xviiie siècle par Christine de Sarazin, veuve du comte Claude-Joseph Aubertin de Juvrecourt, colonel de la Garde du Grand-duc de Toscane, et cousine de l'académicien Jean-François de Saint-Lambert.
Il passe ensuite au député Thiry de 1805 à 1816.
En 1817, il passa à l'homme d'affaires lorrain Georges-Timothée Masson, maire-adjoint de Nancy et conseiller général de la Meurthe. Il était également propriétaire des châteaux de Bouges et de Guermange, ainsi que du domaine de Lindre. Son fils, Antoine Achille Masson (1815-1882) épousa en 1850 Adélaïde Joséphine Bachasson de Montalivet, deuxième fille d'Adélaïde de Saint-Germain et du ministre Camille de Montalivet qui obtiendra de Napoléon III l'autorisation de transmettre son titre aux descendants de son gendre. La famille Masson le conserva jusqu'en 1861.
Charles Lotz en est propriétaire de 1862 à 1870. Auguste de Ludres, puis Valentine, habitèrent le château de 1871 à 1910. La famille Perrin de Brichambeau fut ensuite propriétaire du château de 1911 à 1935, puis il passa aux Marianistes en 1936.
Restauré et entretenu par la commune, il est environné par un parc en accès libre qui comprend un petit étang et un potager de légumes oubliés.
Le château est un site d'animations via la commune, les locations, les évènements culturels... qui permettent de le visiter en même temps, car ses intérieurs restent bien pourvus en boiseries et cheminées diverses. Le lieu se prête également à l'organisation de mariages et de diverses réceptions et cocktails.

Château d'Art-sur-Meurthe

The castle Madame de Graffigny is a residence of the seventeenth century whose writer Françoise de Graffigny was the occupant and to which she left her name. This residence is located in Villers-lès-Nancy, in the suburbs of Nancy. Other famous occupants have lived in the castle: Benjamin Constant and Mathieu de Dombasle.

Château de Madame de Graffigny

The château de Craon, also known as the château d'Haroué or palais d'Haroué is a French château located in a small valley in the centre of the village of Haroué, in the Saintois, in the département of Meurthe-et-Moselle and the région of Lorraine. It was built between 1720 and 1732 by Germain Boffrand during the period when Lorraine was independent of France, for Marc de Beauvau, prince de Craon, viceroy of Tuscany and constable of Lorraine.
Surprisingly, the architect had to integrate into his plans the four towers and moat of an older medieval château, a consideration for medieval buildings which was unusual for the classicist period. Le château's design also symbolises a year:
365 windows,
52 fireplaces,
12 towers (several included in the buildings),
4 bridges crossing the moat.
The decoration was largely entrusted to artists from Lorraine: Jean Lamour (1698–1771) for the gates, balconies and staircases, Pillement (1698–1771) for the painted decoration of one of the towers, Barthélemy Guibal (1699–1757), sculptor of the fountains of place Stanislas at Nancy, for the statuary. The park "à la française" was designed by Emilio Terry.
It has since been lived in by the descendants of Marc de Beauvau.
The château was classified as a monument historique in 1983.

Château d'Haroué

The Château de Lunéville which had belonged to the Dukes of Lorraine since the thirteenth century, was rebuilt as “the Versailles of Lorraine” by Duke Léopold from 1703 to 1723, from designs of Pierre Bourdict and Nicolas Dorbay and then of the architect Germain Boffrand, whose masterwork it became. It became the home of King Stanisław Leszczyński, last duke of Lorraine and Bar.
Lunéville was listed as a Monument historique in 1901 and by successive ordinances; its princely apartments are looked after by the Ministry of Defense while the structure is the responsibility of the Conseil départemental de Meurthe-et-Moselle.
On the night of 2 to 3 January 2003, a fire broke out that ravaged the château to the extent that the plaster vault of the chapelle royale collapsed. Passing through the attics, the fire destroyed the roof over much of the structure. The restoration of the building and its decors is under way.
