Ancestral seat of the entrepreneurial Klein-Wiesenberg clan. The chateau was built in the spirit of Romantic Historicism in the mid-19th century; its romantic park with rare woods is therefore one of its integral parts. Today the chateau functions as a hotel.

Built from 1581-1589 on the site of an earlier Gothic fortress by Jan the Younger of Žerotín, the château and its estates remained in the possession of the ancient Moravian dynasty of Žerotín for more than 300 years. The château consists of three wings overlooking the courtyard with three floors of arcade galleries and is crowned by a narrow octagonal tower. Although Jan was infamous for his ruthlessness towards his subjects, bullying them into woring using methods that were exceptionally cruel even for those days, his descendant Přemek II was worse; in 1662 he had the three ringleaders of a peasant rebellion beheaded. At the turn of the 18th century the Renaissance buildings were extended with a further three, also arcaded, Barroque-style wings, to which were added a Baroque-style garden featuring romantic little structures and statues.
At the end of the 18th century the Žerotíns fell into debt and began selling their estates. In 1802 they had to sell the family seat in Velké Losiny to the Princely Family of Liechtenstein, in whose possession it remained until 1945.
According to unfounded reports the Austrian poet Franz Grillparzer stayed in the château in the 19th century; he was supposed to have based his tragedy The Matriarch on the sad romantic story of the ghostly Žerotín protectoress. The château interiors are among the most remarkable Renaissance spaces in the Czech Republic and most beautiful of all is the banqueting hall with panelled ceiling. The picture gallery houses an outstanding collection of Italian, Dutch and Flemish paintings from the 17th and 18th centuries. The Žerotín armoury contains a collection of pistols and guns made by master gunsmiths at home and abroad from the 17-19th centuries.

Velké Losiny Chateau

The chateau was built by Přemek of Žerotín on the site of a former wooden hunting chateau. The Klien brothers (iron mongery entrepreneurs) acquired the chateau in 1844. They founded a nature park here.

Loučná nad Desnou Chateau

Originally a castle (already mentioned in 1447), which was later rebuilt into a chateau by the Tunkls of Brníčka. Its interior was offered for the meeting of Moravian lords, who gathered here on 4.6.1490 with the representatives of Silesian order, in order to make a decision on the joint election of Vladislav Jagellonsky for the Czech throne.

Šumperk Chateau

A stronghold was established in the place probably in the 1570s. The founder was Jan z Boskovic. After The Battle of White Mountain, the Bludov Manor was confiscated and given to Kryštof Pavel z Lichtenštejna who rebuilt the stronghold as a late Renaissance château. Later, the château was baroquely modified.
In 1710, Bludovský zámek was sold to the House of Žerotín, who owns the château till today. Bludovský zámek became Žerotín’s permanent residence when Karel Ludvík, the house member, sold Velké Losiny château in 1802 because of financial problems. Žerotin’s library, picture gallery, archives, and a collection of weapons were moved as well.
Although House of Žerotin was Czech noble, they registered as Germans during the Nazi occupation, therefore the castle was confiscated in 1945, but in 1950, the then Regional national committee in Brno returned Czech citizenship to Helena Zerotinova, arguing that she acted under the pressure of occupation during the war.
Château rooms were used as a post office, library and municipal office during the communist dictatorship, therefore some rooms were reconstructed to fit more its new purpose; unfortunately reconstructions did not respect late Renaissance and baroque character of building.
The château was returned to Slovak stem of house of Žerotín during the 1990s. The Slovak stem is called the house of Mornstein-Zierotin.
The public library was moved to a Bludov School, the municipal office was moved to another school’s building. The post office was moved to a local shopping centre.

Bludov Chateau

Gothic castle built in 1330. In the 14th and 15th century it belonged to the Lords of Slavoňov, during the Husite Wars the Tunkls owned it. It was seized by Matyáš Korvín, in 1513 it was torn down and abandoned.

Brníčko Castle

Baroqu chateau with a mansard roof, which is topped with a prismal tower. Built under the Hnáteks of Wegfurt. After a fire in 1172, it was reconstructed by the Chorynský family of Ledská. It received its present day form after reconstruction in the 1960s.

Skalička Chateau

In the second half of the 13th century, due to their attempts tat colonizing the mountains, the Olomouc bishops came into conflict with the Jeseníky landlords. Because of the pressure from Olomouc, the brothers Vok and Pavel of the traditional Moravian family of Hrutovic, and who later called themselves of "Huzová", built a castle in Sovinec in the years 1329–32 to mark the border of their territory. Even in the first half of the 14th century the Sovinec dynasty translated its name into the equivalent German Eulenburg, they remained the same ancient moravian branch of the Czech Hurtovic dynasty with their own insignia. From the second half of the 14th century they used either their German or their Czech name, and the latter prevailed since the 15th century.
According to Ctibor Tovačovský of Cimburk's legal work, the lords of Sovinec belonged to the 15 oldest Moravian ruling families such as the Boskovics, the Cimburks, and the Pernštejns. They had privilleged status over all the other ruling families in the area, held the highest positions and took part in all important issues. As a proof of this might, the signature and seal of Petr of Sovinec is visible on the protest letter which Czech and Moravian noblemen wrote in the occasion of the burning of Jan Hus. Sovinec was also an important Hussite, stronghold which endangered even catholic Olomouc. And it is not by chance that Sovinec was chosen as the meeting place for the important political discussions between Prokop Holý, leader of the Hussite army and Zikmund Korybutovič, a candidate for the Czech throne. The lords of Sovinec were strong supporters of the King Jiří z Poděbrady, famous for his attempts at uniting all European monarchs, in his efforts to include Silesia in his project. Due to their political activity, Mathias Corvinus destroyed the lands of the Sovinec dynasty in August 1474. As testified in 1490 in the Land Codex in the second half of the 15th century, Sovinec was the centre of a strong and united rule consisting of one city and 18 villages, ranging from Paseka in the plains through nearby Rýmařov to Štáhly (Malá Štáhle and Velká Štáhle) on the mountains. The watchtower of the Sovinec castle dates back to this era, and one can still see the Sovinec insignia engraved in its stone. The walls of the fortified village of Sovinec also dates back to that time.

Sovinec Castle

It is one of the oldest North Moravian castles built in the style of a French castel. It was partly rebuilt into a chateau at the end of the 17th century. In 1898, the original owners of the castle, the family of Lichtenstein, founded a Museum for Forestry and Hunting, which contains a unique collection of its kind in Central Europe.
At the museum you can see a collection of trophies from the Liechtenstein’s African expeditions. A collection of trophies of local birds and mammals can be seen as well.
Other attractions include a collection of quaint poachers' guns and hunting rifles. Paintings by an academic painter Lubomír Bartoš are on display in the Gallery. Exhibitions take place in the exhibition spaces during the main season.
