The chateau, an extensive and numerous complex of buildings belonging to a former Cistercian monastery, is now the property of Dr. Radoslav Kinský. The baroque bridge over the Sázava, originating from 1760, leads to the chateau. It is decorated with eight statues of the saints. The former building of the abbey and the part of monastery where permanent museum exhibitions are situated at present were built in the Gothic style. In the building of the prelate you can see the Museum of Books and K. F. Töpfer?s huge fresco covers the whole ceiling of its main hall. The agricultural buildings of the first chateau courtyard are built in baroque style. The former Gothic Church of the Assumption of the Virgin, which was rebuilt in the Baroque Gothic by Santini, has rich interior decorations. Santini also reconstructed the decagonal ten-sided ?well chapel". There was a 35m deep well as early as at the end of the 13th century. The palace gained its present shape after 1784 when the monastery was burnt down and then dissolved by Emperor Josef II?s edict and rebuilt into a chateau.

Renaissance chateau, built in 1592-1596 by Vilém Dubský of Třebomyslice. The east wing was added under the next owner, Cardinal František of Dietrichstein. In mid-18th century it was badly damaged by fire, and therefore reconstructed and enlarged in Baroque style. It received the present appearance, including the neo-Renaissance façade, in the 1870s. Today it houses the Horácko Gallery.

Nové Město na Moravě Chateau

The chateau was built around 1560 by reconstructing an old Gothic castle in an Italian Renaissance style. In the 18th century, the chateau was expanded and later remodeled in a Neo-Classical style. Located in the courtyard of the chateau is the original arcaded Renaissance gallery designed as a Tuscan-style colonnade. The chateau is currently the home of the local fire-fighting museum, offering an exhibit of fire-fighting equipment and modern fire detection systems. In addition to a library containing original collections of books as well as a collection of professional publications, the chateau has a ceremonial and lecture hall and several classrooms. The museum is owned by the Czech Association of Firefighters.

Přibyslav Chateau

Originally a castle from the 13th century, this chateau represents a collection of architectural fragments from a diverse range of stylistic periods. In the second half of the 15th century, it was renovated in the late Gothic style. In 1584, Zacharias of Hradec had the castle reconstructed in the Renaissance style. After the Swedes burned the castle down, it was never restored to its original form. 
The chateau houses a museum with expositions taking place in the right wing of the chateau. A fountain from the year 1693 stands in the courtyard. The chateau complex is home to the Základní umělecká škola (Primary School for the Arts), Kulturní středisko (Cultural Centre), and the Zámecká restaurant with lodgings. 
In 1995–2004 extensive reconstruction of the entire museum section of the Polná Chateau complex took place. Museum expositions presenting the history of the castle, city, and the Polná region are located in the castle wing and parts of the chateau. It features a merchant's shop, an exposition of traditional crafts, the "U černého orla" Baroque pharmacy, and a lapidary. The exposition of watches and clocks has over 140 unique clocks, pocket watches, clock mechanisms, and music boxes on display.

Polná Chateau

Three-wing, two-storey chateau with a chapel, arcade loggia in the courtyard. Originally a fortress (1347) belonging to the Vladyks of Kralice. Count Gabriel Gudenus planted a collection of exotic woody species in the chateau park.

Moravec Chateau

In 1744 Jan Václav Leveneur from Grunvald bought the estate of Štěpánov with five villages. Somewhere in the second half of the 18th century the Leveneurs had the old fort torn down and built a one–storey late baroque chateau with two wings, a small tower and Virgin Mary chapel.
In 1853 the last member of the Leveneur family Antonín Vít sold the chateau to František Siegmund. He had new parts added to the building according to the project of František Schmoranz, a designer from Chrudim and the author of the neogothic reconstruction of the Žleby castle. A new floor was added in both garden facing wings in 1858, replacing the former wooden passage gallery. A staircase was built in the north-west wing and a new room was added to the south-east wing.
The last major reconstruction took place in 1936, resulting in a grand entrance hall comprising both floors, a long stylish balcony on the south-east wall and larger windows. Large technical area was built in the basement.

In 1948 the chateau was put under state control, assigned to the School of Agriculture and later used as a dormitory for secondary building school. It was returned to the original owner in 1993 and after substantial reconstruction between 1997-2001 it is now ready to serve many purposes.
Spacious apartments were built on the first floor, offering chateau-style accommodation for up to 14 people. Twelve more people can be accommodated in a detached house above the garden. An indoor pool was built in the historic glasshouse.

Štěpánov Chateau

The Rozsochatec village lies to the northeast of Havlickuv Brod. The first written reference is from 1283. At the end of 16th century the local fortress was built by order of Zikmund Haugvic. However it soon lost its importance. There is a Baroque chateau at the centre. It had been built probably at the place of that fortress before the year of 1681. At the end of 19th century the chateau was renewed in pseudo-renaissance style after a large fire. The historical chateau park is interesting as well with its original trees, as much as 150 years old.

Libice nad Doubravou Chateau

Between 1699 and 1702, William Leopold Count Kinsky had an Italian-style estate built with four wings surrounding the central court on the site of a Gothic fortress. In 1837, the estate was passed through marriage into the ownership of the Dobrzensky family of Dobrzenicz, who still own the estate. Jan Václav Count Dobrzensky was a co-founder of the Chotěboř Town Museum. Since 1952, the Museum has been based in the Chotěboř Chateau.
