The Chateau comprises an L-shaped double-winged unit of which the south-western wing is complemented with a belfry and clock. The interior spaces are arched by Classicist vaults which form the hall with excellent acoustics and vault sectors. The basement is considered to be a remnant of the original fortress. Other cellars are on the south-eastern side, also dating back to the original fortress. The Chateau is privately owned at present and well maintained. Not only the Chateau itself, but also the farm buildings are in a really good condition.
The pseudo-Romanesque Chapel of Our Lady built in 1864 is located over the road, opposite the Chateau gates. Previously, the Chapel contained an 1858 marble statue of Our Lady. The statue was created by V. Levý and bought by Countess Isabella Maria Thurn-Taxis. The statue is now housed in the Prague National Gallery. It is interesting that the original painting is still preserved in the Chapel.A cemetery surrounded by a wall was established around the Church. The tetrahedral bell tower with two bells was built in the north-eastern corner of the cemetery; the third bell was placed in the Sanctus. In September 1916, two of the aforementioned bells, as well as the bell from the Chapel of St. Václav in Valy, were removed. All three bells were broken with hammers on the site after removal, and then transported away.

Bezno Chateau

In place of the present castle originally stood wooden fort, which is recalled in 1429 by Mr. Bohuněk from Stránov. In its place Jaros from Sovojovic built from 1463 to 1468 solid Gothic Castle, which was named Nový Stránov.

In 1589, the owner of the castle become Charles from Biberštejn, the Imperial Council and the highest mint master Kingdom of Bohemia. Later the castle was getting new owner Michael Slavata from Chlum. During the role of family Biberštejn or Slavata castle was rebuilt in the Renaissance look.
Around the year 1642, owner become Jan from Lisau (a member of the Brandenburg nobility, he was promoted to the nobility for bravery in the Battle of Nördlingen and later to imperial commandant in the Cheb . His descendants after three generations declared to be the Czech nationality and called themselves as the Lords of Lisov.
After on the castle lived of Jan's son, Rudolf Adam from Lisov, with his wife Elizabeth Lidmila (great-granddaughter of the astronomer Tycho Brahe) and she spent many years of her life in the castle.
In 1746, by marriage the ruler of the castle become Jan Vaclav Příchovský from Prichovice. This Baroque Knight from the leading aristocratic family left around the castle manny visible traces – Stránov was rebuilt in Baroque style, the castle garden was added (which unfortunately disappeared), sandstone Baroque fountain was built in the castle courtyard and in 1767 St. Václav Church in front of the chateau (the author is a famous architect Philip Heger).
Since 1794, was owned by master Bedřich Václav Vojtěch Herites (people called him Herod), after his death Jan Herites, and until 1864 Knight Bedřich Neubauer.
Present romantic appearance was made in the neorenaissance rebuild in the late 19th century, which was performed in 1890–1894 on project designed by Joseph Schulz builder J. Mráz on order of Lady Marie from Valdštejn and Vartemberk.
The castle was in 1917 bought by the Škoda factories President and Senator in Parliament Joseph Šimonek, which was for a contribution to the development of industry promoted to the baron status. His son František Šimonek and his family lived on Stránov until castle was nationalized in 1950.
After the nationalization of the castle was used as a children's home (in front of the chateau was located Common Agricultural cooperation), which led to a corresponding all non-sensitive adjustments (toilets and washing facilities were built into the main corridors and state rooms, etc.).
Since 2003 is back in the hands of the Šimonek family. The castle was in 2004 for the first time in its history, opened to the public, together with partial reconstruction of the interiors and exteriors of the castle.

Skalsko Chateau

The castle was used as a castle warden's residence. In the course of time, it served as offices and later it was also the residence of the authorities of the time.
After the Thirty Years War, it was administered by the city authority and deteriorated. In the mid 18th century the whole building was rebuilt into barracks and used by the army until 1953. When the army left, it was used as a textile storehouse (until 1972).
At present, it is the residence of the Museum of the Mladá Boleslav region.

Mladá Boleslav Castle

Michalovice is a castle near the Jezera river, about 3 kilometres (2 mi) northwest of the town of Mladá Boleslav, in Central Bohemia, Czech Republic.
The ruins of the early Gothic Michalovice castle stands on the right bank of the Jizera river. It was built by members of the Markvartice family during the last quarter of the 13th century to replace an earlier manor house. It was left to decay already in the 15th century. In the 19th century the ruins of the castle were sapped by treasure hunters, and now only the look-out tower remains.
The robust cylindrical leaning tower is the reason the castle has often been called the tub of Michalovice.

Michalovice Castle

The chateau was created by the reconstruction of a Renaissance fortress from 1570. It was rebuilt according to the plans of G.B. Alliprandi in 1697-1709. The Baroque chateau was modified in Empire style in 1836.

Kosmonosy Chateau

Castle ruins with a part of the palace, preserved chapel window and sections of the fortifications. The castle was built on a high bank of the Jizera, probably in the mid-13th century. In the first half of the 14th century, its expansion was stopped by Prague bishop Jan IV. In 1526, its owner built a more relaxing chateau in Nové Benátky (known now as Benátký nad Jizerou) and the castle was abandoned.

The castle was founded sometime in the first decade of the 14th century by Markvartic Zdislav, the son of Havel of Lemberk, a burgrave at Prague Castle and his wife, beatified Zdislava. Zdislav (of Lemberk) is mentioned in historic documents during the 1273 - 1318 period. His sons Heřman and Markvart are mentioned under their new family residence in Zvířetice.
The ruin of the castle, situated some 4 km to the north from Mladá Boleslav, was renovated first in the late Gothic style; during the Renaissance period it was rebuilt in a fortified chateau. The manor residence was damaged by the fire of 1720 and has never been restored. The present look of the ruin, whose dominant element is the half-preserved cylindrical tower, co-creates the unique romantic panorama of the valley of the Jizera River.

Zvířetice Castle

The chateau in Bělá pod Bezdězem was built at the locality of a former fortress during the 1582 – 1615 period. It was rebuilt in the Baroque style at the end of the 17th century.
In the 19th century the chateau was used by the renowned higher school of forest industry where Dr. Emanuel Purkyně, son of J. E. Purkyně was a teacher. In 1941 museum collections from the nearby Augustinian monastery were placed in the chateau. At present, there is a museum with a permanent exposition of the history of the Bezděz region.
