Description
The original Early Gothic castle built above the town around 1254 was reconstructed in a Renaissance and Early Baroque style at the turn of the 17th century. In 1634 Náchod was acquired by O. Piccolomini, who left behind valuable collections of Dutch Gobelin tapestries and floral still lifes.
