Description

The Manětín castle is often described as the “jewel of the west Bohemian Baroque”. The Baroque castle was rebuilt after the original Renaissance castle fell to fire. It is decorated with many Baroque sculptures and paintings. Roofed passage leads to the decanal church of John the Baptist.

Historical interiors with a collection of furniture from Baroque to historical styles, a collection of paintings, a collection of portraits of the Lažansky family.
