This rococo chateau with its distinguished facade captures the attention of every single person arriving from Prague to Dobříš. The current look of the chateau dates back to 1745-1765 when it was rebuilt by Henry Pavel Mansfeld. His daughter Isabella was married to Francis Gundakar Colloredo. This union gave rise to the House of Colloredo-Mansfeld who owned the chateau until 1942 when it was expropriated by the German Reich. In 1945 the chateau was confiscated by the Czechoslovak State and used as the Writers' House. The current owner of the chateau is Dipl. Ing. Jerome Colloredo-Mansfeld from Austria.

The owner of the estate, Servác Engel of Engelsfluss, commissioned the chateau to be built in 1656 - 1672, soon after the former fortress was burnt to the ground by the Swedes. It is a two-storey building around a square-shaped courtyard. The path from the square is guarded from a pair of lions standing at the ironwork gate. The portal is richly decorated with reliefs and masks, accompanied by the emblem of the Engels of Engelfluss.

Mníšek pod Brdy Chateau

The first written information about Celina village dates back to the year 1336. The first owner of Celina Mansion was probably Pribík of Celina. The chateau originated at the place of the original fortress around 1726. The first owner of Celina Chateau was Jan Antonín Macht of Löwenmachtu. Chateau burned down in 1831, then it was restored to its present form. Since 1893, the chateau bought Gustav Adamek, deputies in the Imperial Council and the Provincial Assembly. During the WWII the estate was into Nazi receivership. Since 1992 the chateau was returned a descendants of Gustav Adamek.

Čelina Chateau

This late-baroque castle with neo-renaissance adaptations from 19th century has been used as vocational training grounds until 1989. After it was returned to its original owners the castle underwent necessary reconstruction and was opened to public.

Hluboš Chateau

The chateau is built on the site of a former fortress, which once stood here in the 14th century. In 1766, Antonin Maschek of Maasburg had a chateau with a garden and park built here.

Svinaře Chateau

The first mention of the fortress in Liteň facility can be found in the early 15th century, which mentions two fortresses - Mladotovská, which has not survived, and Vladeck fortress, which was just in the second half of the 17th century into a baroque castle. Over time, the estate became one of the most successful in the Austro-Hungarian Empire.
During the 2nd World War, the castle area was under German rule after its completion later in the hands of the Red Army. In 1948, the entire area along with adjoining land was nationalized and subsequently used as a state farm and construction school. After the fall of communism he was restituted in very bad condition Daubkových family.

Liteň Chateau

The first mention of the fortress Suchomasty is from 1473. The chateau built on the site of a former fortress was probably built by Count Václav from Bubna in the first half of 18th century.
The castle is surrounded by an English castle park, founded in the 1st half 19th century. In 1918 the castle was reconstructed. After the occupation of Czechoslovakia by the German army in 1939, the castle passed to the German administration. After the war the chateau was confiscated and served as a retirement home for older members of the Unity of Czech Brethren.
The castle is now used by the Institute for mentally handicapped children.

Three-wing chateau with a tall prismal tower. It was built by Hynek Berk of Dube on the site of a former fortress in the 16th century. Baroque reconstruction was conducted following a fire in the 18th century.

Dobřichovice Chateau

Founded in 1348, the construction works were directed by the later Karlštejn burgrave Vitus of Bítov, but there are no records of the builder himself. Some historian speculate that Matthias of Arras may be credited with being the architect, but he had already died by 1352. It is likely that there was not a progressive and cunning architect, but a brilliant civil engineer who dextrously and with a necessary mathematical accuracy solved technically exigent problems that issued from the emperor's ideas and requests. Instead, Holy Roman Emperor Charles IV personally supervised the construction works and interior decoration. A little known fact is that the Emperor hired Palestinian region labour for the remaining work. Construction was finished nearly twenty years later in 1365 when the "heart" of the treasury – the Chapel of the Holy Cross situated in the Great tower – was consecrated.
Following the outbreak of the Hussite Wars, the Imperial Regalia were evacuated in 1421 and brought via Hungary to Nuremberg. In 1422, during the siege of the castle, Hussite attackers used biological warfare when Prince Sigismund Korybut used catapults to throw dead (but not plague-infected) bodies and 2000 carriage-loads of dung over the walls, apparently managing to spread infection among the defenders.
Later, the Bohemian crown jewels were moved to the castle and were kept there for almost two centuries, with some short breaks. The castle underwent several reconstructions: in late Gothic style after 1480, in Renaissance style in the last quarter of the 16th century. In 1487 the Big tower was damaged by fire and during the 16th century there were several adaptations. During the Thirty Years' War in 1619, the coronation jewels and the archive were brought to Prague, and in 1620 the castle was turned over to Ferdinand II, Holy Roman Emperor. After having been conquered in 1648 by Swedes, it fell in disrepair. Finally, a neo-Gothic reconstruction was carried out by Josef Mocker between 1887 and 1899, giving the castle its present look.

Karlštejn Castle

The Chateu stands on the site of the original fort. Date of construction of the chateau or fortress is not known. The first mention of the fortress dates from the late 16th century. Today the area is repaired and offered to rent a private company. The chateau is an extensive garden in anglish style, with tall trees.

Všenory Chateau

The first mention of Jablonná nad Vltavou dates from 1318 when a water fortress was situated on the site of the present Chateau. In 1729, Count Josef Jan Kinský purchased Jablonná and rebuilt it into a Baroque chateau.
Chateau Jablonná nad Vltavou is located in the middle of 3,5-hectare park with two ponds, in the beautiful countryside between the Vltava and Sázava rivers, near Slapy Dam.
Major reconstruction of the Chateau was carried out in  1873 when it was purchased by the Prague banker  JUDr. Johann Schebek. The Chateau was converted in Noe-Classical style. The Neo-Classical paster-cast iron columns and balcony with wrought iron railings and gilded flowers have all survived to the present day and have been completely restored. The park is decorated with original sculptures by Moldner, the German sculptor whose works are also on display in the park of the famous Golf Konopiště Resort.
In the 1920s, bank director, Dr. Rudolf Vodička, became the last owner of the Chateau. During the Second World War, this part of the Central Bohemian Region became a military area, and was used for the manoeuvres of SS units. The Gestapo stored its archives in the Chateau building.
From the 1960s, the building was owned by the National Committee of the Capital City of Prague, which established a retirement  home there. After the Velvet Revolution , the Chateau was returned to the descendants of Dr. Rudolf Vodička.
In 2005, the building was purchased by the ROYAL interier company which, after complete reconstruction, opened it to the public in the Autumn of 2009.
