The most valuable part of this Baroque chateau in Smiřice is the Chapel of the Revelation of Lord.
It was built in the style of High Baroque in the years 1699-1713 on an ellipse groundplan with curved walls, connected to the chateau by a roofed corridor. It is debated whether Christoph Dienzenhofer or Giovanni B. Santini was the building's architect.
John Jacob Steinfels decorated the ceiling in 1699. Peter Brandl, the famous Baroque painter, painted the main altar Adoration of the Magi in 1727. In 1724, Carlo Carlone painted the Assumption of Our Lady. Peter Brandl is the author of the picture on side altar near the door.

Cerekvice nad Bystřic Chateau

The lords of the House of Poličan and Hustířan lived in the château from 1382. In 1540 – 1560, Bílé Poličany came into the ownership of Sigmund and Albrecht von Schmiritz and the widely branched House of Wallenstein ruled there from the mid-16th century. Albrecht von Wallenstein became a significant owner in 1623. The original wooden fortress was not rebuilt as a stone one until 1657. During the first half of the 18th century, the chateau was reconstructed once again. It has been the property of the Hasičská vzájemná pojišťovny, a.s. since 1999 and that company has undertaken significant reconstruction work there since 2004.

Bílé Poličany Chateau

On a rocky promontory above the swimming pool, on the site of a fortress, stands Chvalkovice Chateau. The fortress that was mentioned in the 14th century, was built of stone and partly of wood fittings. Chvalkovice fortress belonged to the lords of Chvalkovice in the 15th century, later the lords of Hustírany.
From 1842 the castle belonged to the noble family of Schamburg-Lippe.

Chvalkovice Chateau

Hrádek u Nechanic is a 19th-century Gothic style Romantic château near the town of Hrádek in the Hradec Králové Region of the Czech Republic. In 2001 Hrádek u Nechanic was declared part of the National Cultural Heritage. The chateau is administered by the National Heritage Trust and the Ministry of Culture.
Hrádek u Nechanic was built between 1839 and 1857 as a representative and summer seat by Count František Arnošt of Harrach, one of the most important representatives of the Jilemnice dynasty. The young Austrian architect Karl Fischer led building operations and suggested decoration of the chateau's interior. The chateau was designed by the English architect Edward Buckton Lamb. It is referred to as “Little Hluboká” because it resembles to Hluboka Chateau in southern Bohemia. Most of the furniture was made by local artisans. The remainder of the interior was brought from Italy and Austria. Around the same time, L. Krüger converted part of the local forest into a park. In the left part of the park, a reserve and pheasantry were founded. In 1945, the chateau was confiscated because of the Beneš decrees.

Hrádek u Nechanic Chateau

The place was first mentioned in 1068 by Cosmas of Prague as a fortified settlement. Later a Gothic castle was built in its location. In 1425 the castle was conquered by East Bohemian Hussites and later it was reconstructed. The round Well Tower is the only still existing part of the original medieval castle.
In 1495 the domain of Opočno was bought by the family Trčka of Lípa. Vilém Trčka of Lípa, who undertook a journey to Italy in 1551, rebuilt the palace in the Renaissance style between 1560–67. In this time the new Renaissance arcades were built after Italian examples. Vilém then rebuilt also the original chapel of St. Andrew into the new Church of the Holy Trinity which was planned for the burials of the Trčka family. In 1602 a summer pavilion was built by Jan Rudolf Trčka overlooking the valley of the valley Zlatý potok (German: Goldbach) and he also founded a new garden around the summer house.
After the murder of Adam Erdman Trčka (together with Albrecht of Wallenstein) in Cheb (German: Eger) in 1634 and the death of his father in the same year, the Trčka family died out in the male line. Opočno was confiscated and the Emperor Ferdinand II allowed the Colloredo family to buy the property for 51,456 Rhenish guilders. Rudolf Colloredo von Walsee was a general of the Imperial army during the Thirty Years' War. In the 1690s the palace, especially its southern wing, was reconstructed after a fire under Hieronymous Colloredo von Walsee. In this time the chapel of St. Anne in the southern wing got its present appearance. These Baroque changes were carried out also by the architect Giovanni Battista Alliprandi.
Since then the Colloredos have substantially modified the chateau and even founded a 22-hectare (54-acre) English garden with rare trees, ponds and waterfalls. In 1895 the exceptionally valuable and large family painting gallery was brought to Opočno from Prague.
During the World War II, the owners of Opočno Castle, the family of Colloredo-Mansfeld, opposed the Nazi occupation of Czechoslovakia, therefore their Castle was confiscated in 1942 by Nazi Germany. After the war Opočno Castle passed to possession of the Czechoslovak state and because of the subsequent Communist rule it could not be returned to the Colloredo-Mansfeld family that emigrated in 1948 for fear of persecutions by the Communist government. First in 2003 the Czech courts decided to return Opočno Castle to the Colloredo-Mansfeld family, but in 2007 the decision was reversed with regard to the castle and its collections, while the farmland was returned. In 2014 the Czech Supreme Court ordered a new trial concerning the unresolved restitution claims of the Colloredo-Mansfeld family.

Opočno Chateau

Originally was there a fortress from the 14th century, which was rebuilt by George Bedrich of Oppersdorf between 1693 - 1703 in the baroque castle by builder Klupf. The Seven Years' War desolated the manor and the castle served as the seat of both opposite masters belligerentes alternately. Miletín Castle

The resemblance of the chateau is from the beginning of the 18th century when nearby desolate keep was built one storey Baroque chateau with a chapel in the style of small Italian villa by Lorenzo Piccolomini. Thank to the book “Grandmother” by Božena Němcová is the chateau known as the summer seat of Catherina Frederica Wilhelmina Benigna, the duchess of Sagan, who inherited Ratibořice as the part of Náchod domain in the year 1800 and after it she rebuilt the chateau into a comfortable country residence. The beautiful duchess entertained many important personalities, among others were the Russian tsar Alexander I and the Austrian chancellor prince Metternich. In the rooms on the ground floor furnished with period furniture can be found the collection of the last noble owners, Princes zu Schaumburg-Lippe. After the year 1945 the chateau was confiscated and with other property moved into the ownership of the Czech state.

Ratibořice Chateau

It can be found in the western edge of the municipal historical reservation, which is located on the arenaceous promontory, surrounded from three parts by the Metuje River. Together with the chateau it represents a pearl situated in the foothills of the Orlické Mountains. It is located next to so called Land Gate – border cross point to the neighboring Poland, through which there was a commercial path even in ancient periods. History of the chateau starts in the year 1501, when Jan Černčický of Kácov established its core in shape of late Gothic castle.

Nové Město nad Metují Chateau

Chateau from the 1st half of the 18th century. In 1901 it was reconstructed in pseudo-Baroque style by industrialist Gaston Malmann. The chateau is rectangualr in shape with a mansard roof. The main frontispiece is decorated by a dynamically modelled central buttress with a gable and arcade underpass.

Myštěves Chateau

Two-storey building with mansard roof and tower. On the southern facade of the small bay, originally a chapel and two cylindrical corner towers. On the ground floor of a glazed arcade of the courtyard. A two-armed staircase leads to a large park from the main building of the chateau.
The chateau is close to public now.
