Originally a 14th century fortress, which the Podstatští of Prusinovice rebuilt into a storeyed, four-wing chateau with a rectangular courtyard in the 16th century. It was rebuilt in Classical style in the 19th century. Today the chateau serves for the needs of the village.

The first residence on the site was founded by bishop Stanislas Thurzo in 1497. The building was in a Late Gothic style, with a modicum of Renaissance detail. During the Thirty Years' War, the castle was sacked by the Swedish army (1643).
It was not until 1664 that a bishop from the powerful Liechtenstein family charged architect Filiberto Lucchese with renovating the palace in a Baroque style. The chief monument of Lucchese's work in Kroměříž is the Pleasure Garden in front of the castle. Upon Lucchese's death in 1666, Giovanni Pietro Tencalla completed his work on the formal garden and had the palace rebuilt in a style reminiscent of the Turinese school to which he belonged.
After the castle was gutted by a major fire in March 1752, Bishop Hamilton commissioned two leading imperial artists, Franz Anton Maulbertsch and Josef Stern, arrived at the residence in order to decorate the halls of the palace with their works. In addition to their paintings, the palace still houses an art collection, generally considered the second finest in the country, which includes Titian's last mythological painting, The Flaying of Marsyas. The largest part of the collection was acquired by Bishop Karel in Cologne in 1673. The palace also contains an outstanding musical archive and a library of 33,000 volumes.

Kroměříž Castle

The renaissance castle built over older stronghold is mentioned in local legends about a folk king. The castle had been rebuilt in 17th century for the Olomouc archbishop, and reconstructed again later in 19th century. Interesting item is the folk's king table decorated with motives of cutlery and rose.

Chropyně Chateau

Kurovice Castle, also called Kurowitz Castle, is located in Kurovice, in the Kroměříž District, Zlín Region, Czech Republic. It is one of the most important extant fortresses of the lower nobility in the Czech Republic.
The first buildings, in the 13th century, were probably mostly from wood. The oldest surviving walls are from the first half of the 15th century. The castle measures 30 by 20 metres (98 by 66 ft), and there were 3 levels tower and one level palace first. The buildings were protected by a double protective wall, with a wooden bridge over two moats, in place until the 20th century.
The main rebuildings were made by the noble Vrchlabsky family, between 1590 and the mid-16th century. Most of the architectural details from this period survive unchanged. One of the builders was Joachym Zoubek ze Zdetina (Joachym Zub ze Zdietina), who began work in the second half of the 16th century. His coat is still found in the top of one ceiling vault, with the text "JOACHIM ZVB ZE ZDIETINA A NA MOSSTIENICI KOMORNIK MENSSI ETC."[citation needed] The last meaningful reconstruction was made by Vaclav Eusebius Lobkowicz, who finished the 3rd floor of the building. In the 20th century, the castle was used as a block of flats. A restoration began in 1982, but was halted in 1990. As of 2006, the castle belongs to a private owner.

Holešov Chateau

Jedná se o areál zámku s hospodářskými budovami bývalé sladovny, která vznikla asimilací a přestavbou starších vrchnostenských pivovarnických a sladovnických budov, vybudováním nové budovy s hvozdem a nové budovy amerických humen. Budovy sladovny uzavírají nádvoří zámku. Po stranách navazují na budovu zámku jednopodlažní budovy humen s klasicistními klenbami, s využitím půdního prostoru na sýpky, a sedlovou střechou krytou plechem. Zadní trakt tvoří pětipodlažní budova sýpek, místností na čištění a máčení, ke které byla příčně přistavěna pětipodlažní budova s hvozdem a komínem v roce 1912. Nová budova amerických humen pocházející také z roku 1912, je jednopodlažní s pultovou střechou a byla přistavěna k levému bočnímu křídlu starších humen a sýpek.
Vlastní areál zámku s budovami sladovny je hodnotným příkladem malého panského sídla, u kterého převládly účely hospodářské nad účelem obytným. Nová budova hvozdu s komínem z roku 1912, která se nachází na parcele číslo 123, není vedena jako kulturní památka, přestože je stavebně provázaná a dispozičně souvisí s pětipodlažní budovou sýpky.
Levá část patří obci, v současné době je zde bydlení pro sociálně slabší obyvatele. Starosta obce s projektem souhlasí a je ochoten s budoucím majitelem spolupracovat.

Nezamyslice Chateau

Renaissance Chateau was rebuilt in 1603 by Vaclav Nekes of Landek from an older fortress. The chateau was owned by the Counts of Seilern, who in 1885 it was rebuilt in its present form. The chateau is owned by the municipality today and it is close to public.

Přílepy Chateau

Tovačov is surrounded by water and alluvial forest on three sides. According to legend, the castle was founded as a sanctuary for hunters. It was reconstructed as a renaissance chateau by the last of the Cimburks.
Almost one hundred meters high, the so-called "Graceful Tower" of the chateau offers a unique view of the town of Tovačov. The Lords of Cimburk in 14th century then redeveloped it into a Renaissance chateau. As well as thematic, temporary exhibitions, a particular attraction for visitors to the chateau is the entrance portal of the tower from 1492, distinguished as the oldest Italian Renaissance structure in Moravia. The left wing of the chateau includes a splendid copy of the Vienna Opera staircase, the chateau chapel with early Baroque stucco decoration, two large halls, an exhibition of the Lords of Gutmann and an exhibition of Ctibor Tovačovský of Cimburk.

Tovačov Chateau

This Chateau, built in the late Baroque style in 1764-1769, is one of the works of F. A. Grimm. The chateau grounds feature and English park and a French garden. A local horse-breeding farm, established in 1882 by the chateau’s then-owner Aristid Baltazzi, is renowned for its breeding of English thoroughbreds.

Napajedla Chateau

Cetechovice Chateau is a Baroque four-winged building west of the village. At present it is a private property and not open to the public. Initially a fortress stood here, first mentioned in 1481. In 1682–1685, Karel Antonín Zeller of Rosenthal carried out some basic modifications. Irregularities in the shape of the northern and eastern wing reflect local connections to this fortress. The chateau was reconstructed into the present Baroque one-storey building in 1731–1738, under Josef Antonín of Mayerswald. A year later, the village including the chateau fell into the hands of the Petřvald family. In 1763 the chateau was bought by the Künburgs, who converted the original park around the chateau into arable land. The entire chateau is dominated by an enormous Baroque portal with fine decorations and a sundial. Over the portal, a joint coat of arms with emblems of the Zellers of Rosenthal and the Mayers of Mayerswald is located. After 1945 it became a collective farm, but also the Franciscan Order seated here. For the needs of the Order, the interior was extensively reconstructed, which completely damaged the chateau rooms. After 1989 the chateau was returned to the Šimon family.
