Nahošice Chateau is smaller chateau from the 18th century. It consists of a single-storey rectangular building.
The castle, originally Baroque, it was rebuilt from a fort that stood here already the 14th century. In the second half of the 19th century, Peter and James Prussians rebuilt again, this time in Neo-Renaissance style. The last substantial modifications were carried out in the early 20th century, when the castle was completed by the rear turret. It originally included a water tower, which was in the 70s removed.

Osvračín Chateau

The National cultural heritage State Castle Horšovský Týn is one of the most opened castle to the public in the Czech Republic.
The castle Horšovský Týn used to be a gothic castle owned by Prague bishops and founded in the half of the 13th century. In 1547, it burned and shortly after that it was rebuilt into a fascinating monumental renaissance castle of John the Younger of Lobkowitz. From 1623 to 1945, the castle was owned by the House of Trauttmansdorff. In 1945, the castle was put under the state control.
The park with an area around 40 ha, All Staints' Church in Horšov and Church of St. Anne are also under the administration of the castle.

Horšovský Týn Chateau

The castle Domažlice is build in the 13th century. It was part of the fortification of the city of Domažlice and is located at the southwest side of the city. The castle used to accommodate the administration of the 'Chodsko' region. It fulfilled this function until the beginning of the 16th century. After that the castle wasn't used and it deteriorated.
The original castle was destroyed by a fire in 1592. The typical tower is the only building left of that castle. The new castle was build in 1726 in the Baroque style and taken back into use.
Nowadays the castle is used as the regional museum of 'Chodsko'. In the museum you will find a collection of folk artifacts, art and paintings from the region.

Domažlice Castle

The original stronghold was founded probably at the end of the 13th century. After the Thirty Years War it fell to the Emperor’s order to demolish all places, which could in the future serve as enemy’s shelter. The remains of a stone tower were in the 19th century used as foundations for an observation tower.

Rýzmberk Castle

The ruin is situated not far from Kdyně. The castle founded Bušek II. From Velhartice during the first half of the 14th century.

Nový Herštejn Castle

The chateau, founded by Černíny from Chudenice, was originally built as a spa. However, in time it became an Imperial chateau. It is enclosed by a vast English park, in which an arboretum known as “The American Garden,” with superb specimens of North American evergreens, was built in 1841.

Lázeň Chateau

Pobezovice (also Ronsperk), the castle was rebuilt into a Baroque palace in the same city in the district Domazlice. Located in the city center at an altitude of about 440 m. It is protected as a cultural monument of the Czech Republic.

Poběžovice Chateau

Originally a Gothic fortress, rebuilt in the 16th century in the Renaissance style. In 1728 its new owner, Count Morzin, had it remade into a Baroque chateau. The northern section of the structure has retained its Renaissance character.

Merklín Chateau

Prostiboř is first mentioned in 1115. However, the municipality was previously about the first half of the 11th century. In this period continued Slavic settlement from the central parts of Bohemia to the west along the river and trade route from Prague to Bavaria. The village was declared a village conservation area, in which are preserved some interesting buildings.
Its landmark is the church. Nicholas. Already in 1356 it was mentioned as a parish. Originally a Gothic building was rebuilt in the Baroque period, when it added a tower dating from 1753 to 1756. The tower is equipped with a bell cast 1551. The church used to be a cemetery. Its range proves preserved stone wall.
Southeast of the village on the green path stood the castle. Expected emergence of the castle in the 13th century, the first mention is from roku1235. This noble and insignificant castle was bergfritového type. This is a typical 13th castles and 14 century. The head of the castle was a tower, which served as the last refuge of the defenders of the castle. Therefore, mostly only accessible by bridge or ladder, which defenders could be easily removed.
The castle was a better defense capability built on a granite promontory above the river Úhlavkou. Neighborhood Prostiboř is built paragneisses and schists and crystalline Domažlice Kladruby granite massif. From the geomorphological point of view belongs to the rugged hills on the edge Stříbrský Sedmihoří. Granite features in the outcrops in the ditch of the castle and the slope of the valley to the river. In the 16th century in the Baroque style was modified and completed in its present form. Thus, rather range. The castle is now very dilapidated and under renovation. With it is already covered. An interesting part is preserved wooden ceiling, built from hewn oak beams and půlkuláčů. According to dendrochronological analysis trees were used to build the ceiling felled in 1307, and is thus one of the oldest wooden structures in the Czech lands.
Just as in the surrounding communities and Jewish community lived here. Their stay in the village is attested from the 17th century. The synagogue, built in 1838, was very spacious, but most of it was demolished in 1923.
