Under the influence of Classicism, the chateau received its varied Empirical facade with a distinct entry buttress. During reconstruction, a two-storey building with two short singgle axis, single-storey side buildings on the east and west side were added.

The most prominent landmark in Hnojník is a baroque château built in 1736 in the central part of the village by order of Karl Beess. It was rebuilt in an empire style in the first half of the 19th century according to the plans of Viennese architect Joseph Kornhäusel. After World War II, the château was confiscated by the state administration as was mentioned above. Part of the furniture and paintings was relocated to the château in Šternberk. However, a significant part of it was stolen by unknown persons. The library was relocated to Šternberk and Potštát. The château became a property of the local administration and since 1966 of the collective farm (JZD). Since the 1970s, the château slowly dilapidated. After the fall of communism in 1989, it became a property of a private owner who didn't renovate it and the landmark continued to dilapidate. The state administration sold the landmark in 2008 to a new private owner, after the old one lost his property rights when he was imprisoned. The château in Hnojník remains one of the most endangered cultural landmarks in the country.

Hnojník Chateau

The Empire chateau was reconstructed in the 19th century from an older fort. As of 1933 it has been referred to as grand villa.

Dolní Tošanovice Chateau

The chateau, originally a Gothic fort from the 15th century, is formed by a single-storey building covered by a hip roof with additionally installed dormer windows. It has two corner antlers on the west side. Even the portico with four columns bearing a balcony in line with the entrance is of historical significance.

Dolní Bludovice Chateau

Empire chateau dating back to the end of the 18th century. Its history reaches as far back as the 14th century and is connected with the dynasty of the Těšínské Piast. The most significant period arose after 1792, when the estate was purchased by the countship Larisch-Mönnich and it was reconstructed. The chateau is surrounded by an exquisite English park with a number of rare woody plants.

Fryštát Chateau

Defensive border Gothic castle, which was rebuilt into a chateau (of Bartoloměj Bruntálský of Vrbna) in the Renaissance style in the 16th century. Following a fire in 1668, it was reconstructed several times. It belonged to the Habsburg estate from 1797, and now the state.
