Description

In 1785, the Zbraslav monastery was closed, and Komořany devolved to the secular trust, which sold the Komořany chateau, grounds and sheepfold to the Prince of Oettingen-Wallerstein 40 years later. In 1866, it was sold to an Albertan knight.

In the meantime, the Komořany cadastral municipality was created, and in the 19th century, they formed a shared political community with Točná. For that reason, in Malý Otto's dictionary of 1904, Komořany is listed simply as a chateau near the village of Točná. http://revolvy.com/
