Zehusice Chateau near the town of Kutna Hora, in Central Bohemia, is famous for its deer park where the unique white deer live! The future owner will own both the castle and the deer.
This early Baroque castle was owned by the aristocratic Thun-Hohenstein family and was originally a Gothic stronghold. It was rebuilt several times and now is in need of extenisve renovation. The English garden featuring a deer park with the herd of unique white deer was built in the 19th century.

Kačina was built in place of the defunct medieval village Kačín as a prestige mansion of the supreme burgrave of the Kingdom of Bohemia and president of governorate Jan Rudolf Chotek (1748–1824) from 1806 to 1824. The architectural scheme was drawn up by Saxon royal architect Christian Franz Schuricht (1753–1832) from Dresden. Johann Philipp Jöndl (1782–1870) and in the last few years also had controlled running the construction. He also eminently influenced the final appearance of the castle.
Functionally the castle is divided into three parts. The main (central) building with exquisite halls and the residence of earl family, then two quarter circle adjacent lower wings with pillared colonnade where the guest rooms were situated. To those wings were connected other pavilions. In the right one is situated never finished mansion chapel and theatre which were finished in the first half of 19th century.
In the left one there is a Chotek's extensive library dated from 16th to 19th century. The castle is surrounded by vast park that was founded already in 1789 according to the plan of famous Viennese botanist Nikolaus Joseph von Jacquin (1727–1817), it was completed thirteen years earlier than the castle itself.

Kačina Chateau

The forerunner of today's Nové Dvory chateau was a medieval Cistercian monastery. In 1588 Kaspar M. from Žerotín built a Renaissance chateau.
In 1607 the chateau was destroyed by fire and again the raging fire during Thirty Years' war in the 1639. The chateau was after this event completely abandoned until 1679. From 1679 to 1686, the chateau was restored. Around the chateau was built garden with pheasantry and horse riding-school.
An interesting feature of the chateau is its connection with the church of St. Martin by arcade corridor.

Nové Dvory Chateau

The fortress was first mentioned in the mid-14th century; later, as a wooden chateau, the structure burned to the ground in 1803. Under ownership by the Žerotín family a Renaissance chateau was built in the second half of the 16th century; the structure underwent Baroque reconstruction in the second half of the 18th century and received additional modifications in later years. The chateau included a park, part English and part French, which was destroyed by the engineer regiment of the Soviet Army while stationed here in the 1970's and 1980's.

Zdechovice Chateau

The first written mention of a fortress in „trebesiz“ dates back to the year 1309, when its owner was konrad kutner, a wealthy burger from Kutná Hora. 
The fortress and estate of třebešice were sold from sedlec abbey to vaclav hur in 1415, then they passed through several different owners, especially in the stormy years of the Hussite wars.

Třebešice Chateau

The original Gothic stronghold was replaced by a Renaissance castle with later Baroque adaptations. In the 19th century the castle underwent a radical change incited by the owner V. K. Auersperg, who had the castle rebuilt in a romantic Gothic style and renaissance.

Žleby Chateau

Vlašský dvůr was only an ordinary fort designed to guard the roads. Later on it was rebuilt to king´s mansion, but the greatest change was during the rule of king Václav II, who collected all the bohemian mints there. There were two purposes why Václav II did this – firstly, there was a material for mints in Kutná Hora, secondly, king started the monetary reform that was aimed to unify the bohemian currency. To accomplish the task, king Václav II invited florentian lawyers and bankers, who impressed local people. The overall reconstruction of all complex is connected with the monetary reform. Central incustory room was built. Above this room a king´s chambers were built and on the circumference of the building small „šmitny“ were constructed.
Vlašský dvůr was an important centre of power as well. During the hussite wars Zikmund of Luxembourg built a base there from which he controlled his crusaders. He had found a kind support amongst local parvenues and barons. Kutná Hora never supported Hussites and 2000 of them were thrown to the drifts by Kutná Hora´s pro-catholic miners. They have even claimed that a person who would bring Hussite to town would be rewarded by a score of sous and who would bring Hussite priest would be rewarded by two scores of sous. It is of no surprise that people round Kutná Hora begun to disappear and number of people on the bottoms of the drifts started to raise. Later on a catholic king Vladislav II of Jagell was crowned here and he liked spending time in Vlašský dvůr. The last great assembly was called here in 1523. Reason for summoning the barons for the assembly was clear – amount of illegaly used silver was alarmingly high. As it is said – a chance makes criminals. The greatest robbers were, of course, of the aristocratic roots, but even miners and coinmakers weren´t innocent.

Vlašský dvůr Castle

Hrádek resembles a small castle not only by its name. It does not have its castle tower, but who would need it at the end of 15th Century? In that times (as well as today) a house ought to represent wealth and taste of its owner. And the owner of this house could walk through the town in funny medieval shoes and no one could poke fun on him. He was respected in the same way as his house was. At least theoretically.

Hrádek Castle in Kutná Hora

The history of the lord's mansion was already mentioned in 1664. The building of the former chateau was torn down in 1823 and a new one was built in 1825. At the end of the 19th century, thorough reconstruction in Pseudo-Gothic style was conducted. In the second half of the 20th century it served as the domicile for the head office of the East Bohemian State Forests.

Ronov nad Doubravou Chateau

Hostacov is first mentioned as being a small defensive fortress which was completed by 1297. The site was chosen ostensibly because it is located upon a rocky outcrop on the end of a small spur of land that drops away steeply on three sides, surrounded on two sides by a stream and a river from the other. Along this river at the time it is said a quite important trading and pilgrimage route led from the old stone bridge downstream (which still stands) towards the monastery in Vilemov. The fourth, southern side was made defensible by the digging out of a moat.
This defensive structure was expanded by Heřman Bohdaneč of Hodkov between 1557 and 1583 into a zámek, or chateau in the Rennaisance style. At this time, there were 3 wings, which left the courtyard open to the west. The corridors facing the courtyard were all arcaded and left open on both the bottom and first floors.
Over the years, most probably under the ownership of Marie Magdalena Goltzová around the 1640?s, a fourth wing was built on the western side, enclosing the courtyard. During this stage, the open arches on the upstairs corridor were most probably also walled up, with large double windows installed, leaving the structure as we see it more or less today.

Hostačov Chateau

The first written mention of Choltice dates to 1285 with Beneš of Choltice, one of the leading nobles at the time of King Václav II. Most likely in the second half of the 16th century the fortress was rebuilt into a relatively large chateau, which had thirty-five rooms in 1620. Preserved today is a building with a corner tower in the northeastern part of the chateau grounds. A fundamental change occurred under Romedius Konstantin, who chose Choltice as his residence and soon left the site of the old chateau to build a new Baroque chateau, including the Chapel of St. Romedius with rich stucco and painting ornamentation.
