Three-winged, two-storeyed chateau with three towers. Originally a castle, which Jan Haugvic of Biskupic had reconstructed into a renaissance chateau in 1568-1585. Reconstruction in the empire style took place in the 19th century.

Habrovany Chateau

The first reference to Křtiny dates back to the year 1237; but its history goes back as far as to the arrival of the Moravian missionaries Cyril and Methodius in the 9th century proof of which is the name of the township. 
The monastery of Křtiny was at the height of its fame in the 2nd half of the 18th century, soon after the church was consecrated. Before long, however, it was closed down by Emperor Joseph II. The church still served its religious purposes but the property of the monastery was sold. And new owners appeared – the Dietrichstein family, after them the Bubna family of Litice and then the Tauber family. In 1894 Jan II of Liechtenstein got hold of the Křtiny Chateau; he intended to repair it and donate it to the township to be used as a school or hospital. The Křtiny inhabitants however were worried that the costs would be too high and they did not accept this gift. Afterwards only the doctor lived here. 
In 1923 the University of Agriculture in Brno took over the Lichtenstein Adamov estate and at the same time also the Křtiny Chateau was handed over but it remained to be the dwelling of the doctor. During World War 2 it was used by the German army. Not until the 1950’s was the building used for practical training at the school farm. A number of special-purpose construction works and repairs were done but as a whole the chateau was dilapidating. In the early 1980’s the University of Agriculture in Brno handed the chateau over to the administration of the School Forest Enterprise Křtiny, because from 1967 to 1996 it had been the seat of the enterprise headquarters (until 1996). 
Since 1994 the chateau has been extensively reconstructed. First of all, the roof timbers were redeveloped and the roofing was restored to prevent the rain coming in; in 1997 the south wing was reconstructed. At the end of 2001 the well-equipped state-of-the-art audio visual educational room was built. The social hall was redeveloped. After that the main building underwent complete overhaul and redevelopment. In November 2008 the remaining part of the chateau- the north wing - was inspected and passed. Two floors were converted to accommodation facilities, a new kitchen with restaurant, on the ground floor space for a potential information centre and multi-purpose room. In 2010 the reconstruction was completed.

Křtiny Chateau

Slavkov Castle (also known as Austerlitz Castle) is a Baroque palace in Slavkov u Brna, in the Czech Republic. The small town and the castle are chiefly known for the Battle of Austerlitz.
A first castle at the site was erected by the Teutonic Knights in the early 12th century, then the seat of a commandry within their Bohemian bailiwick. In the early 16th century it passed to the Moravian noble house of Kaunitz (Kounicové) who had it rebuilt in a Renaissance style.
The present-day palace with 115 rooms was erected from 1696 onwards according to plans designed by the Italian architect Domenico Martinelli. The conversion was finished under Prince Wenzel Anton of Kaunitz-Rietberg more than fifty years later. The impressive garden in a French style modelled on the Gardens of Versailles was laid out in 1774. In the oval ceremonial hall (the "Historic Salon"), an armistice was signed between Austria and France after the Battle of Austerlitz on 6 December 1805. There is a small historic museum and a multimedia presentation about the battle.

Slavkov Chateau

The chateau is located in a beautiful and tranquil natural setting on the outskirts of Brno near the Marian Valley nature area, the town of Slavkov (Austerlitz), the site of the historic Battle of Three Emperors, the Moravian Karst and the Drahany highlands.
The hotel offers guests 15 reconstructed rooms with modern furnishings, including a room for handicapped guests. Guests have access to a free parking lot, wi-fi internet connection, snack bar and playground.
A large hall (gallery), a small lounge and a room with all necessary technical equipment are available for hosting wedding receptions, family celebrations, corporate events, seminars, exhibitions and formal social events.

Líšeň Chateau

Bucovice chateau is an unique example of the Italian renaissance style of  building north of the Alps. the chateauCompared with most of our renaissance chateaux it is not a mere renaissance-style conversion of an older residence (castle or fortified settlement), but a realization of original project for a late-renaissance "palazzo in fortezza" style of building.
The arcade courtyard is remarkable. Its 90 columns are decorated with 540 relief carvings picturing battle scenes, coats of arms, fantasy animals and creatures, masks and musical instruments. Elia Canavale and Antonio Silva - two Italians who lived in Bohemia, carried out the  stonework.
The mannerist fountain in the courtyard is the work of Pietro Materna following the design of Giovanni Giacomo Tencalla. They both were prominent artists of the imperial court. The fountain, with themes of sea sirens, dragons and a sculpture of a Bacchant pressing wine from bellows is one of the most beautiful fountains in Central Europe.

Bučovice Castle

The reconstructed ruin of a stronghold built on the promontory above the Svitava river in the 15th century. At the beginning of the 19th century it was rebuilt into a hunting castle, which was abandoned in the 50s of the 20th century. Close to the New castle are visible remains of the Old castle from the 13th century.

Nový Hrad u Adamova Castle

The delightful Renaissance chateau is the highlight of Blansko. A number of distinguished personalities have lived here, such as the doctor and archaeologist Jindřich Wankel and the Austrian writer Ferdinand von Saar. The most famous personality associated with Blansko Chateau is Caroline Meineke, wife of the future King of England William IV and heroine of an ancient tale of unrequited love.
The chateau stands on the site of an original Gothic feudal court mentioned in sources in the 14th century. The building has four wings with a rectangular inner courtyard with pillared arcades. The chateau’s Renaissance appearance dates back to the beginning of the 17th century. It was built in 1604–1605 by Jan Žalkovský of Žalkovice. It has undergone numerous alterations since that time. In 1695, the Gellhorns built the chateau tower and clock, while the interior layout was altered during the time of the Salms in the 19th century. General repairs to the chateau were performed in 1969 with the aim of restoring the purity of the building’s Renaissance style.
The last restoration of the chateau courtyard was completed in 2012 and gave rise to new expositions in the form of an exhibition of cast-iron sculptures, the Chemical Laboratory of Baron Reichenbach, the Discoverers of the Moravian Karst, and the Castles of the Blansko Region.

Blansko Chateau

The Otaslavice Castle is first mentioned in 1337. Later, in 1427, the castle was seized and demolished by Albrecht II of Austria during his campaign against the Moravian Hussites. After that, the castle was never re-established.
Only a fragment of a tower remains preserved, with parts of the Gothic window lining with the coat-of-arms of the Lords of Kunštát.

Otaslavice Castle

Chateau reconstructed from a renaissance stronghold in 1560. During the times of the Dietrichšteins the chateau was renovated in baroque style. The reconstruction, as we know it today, was performed by Mitrovští of Nemyšle. Severe battles over the chateau were led during the Battle at Slavkov.

Sokolnice Chateau

Špilberk Castle is a castle on the hilltop in Brno, Southern Moravia. Its construction began as early as the first half of the 13th century by the Přemyslid kings and complete by King Ottokar II of Bohemia. From a major royal castle established around the mid-13th century, and the seat of the Moravian margraves in the mid-14th century, it was gradually turned into a huge baroque fortress considered the harshest prison in the Austro-Hungarian empire, and then into barracks. This prison had always been part of the Špilberk fortress.
In 1620, after losing The Battle of White Mountain on November 8, the leading Moravian members of the anti-Habsburg insurrection were imprisoned in Špilberk for several years. The town of Brno bought the castle in 1560 and made it into a municipal fortress. The bastion fortifications of Špilberk helped Brno to defend itself against Swedish raids during the Thirty Years' War, and then successful defence led to further fortification and the strengthening of the military function of the fortress.
At the same time Špilberk was used as a prison. Protestants were the first prisoners forced to serve time here, followed later by participants in the revolutions of 1848–49, although hardened criminals, thieves and petty criminals were also kept here. Franz Freiherr von der Trenck, Austrian soldier and one of the most controversial persons of the period was also jailed and died here on October 4, 1749. Later, apart from several significant French revolutionaries captured during the coalition wars with France, Jean-Baptiste Drouet, famous as the former postmaster of Sainte-Menehould who had arrested King Louis XVI, was the most known of them all. A group of fifteen Hungarian Jacobins led by the writer Ferenc Kazinczy was also especially noteworthy.
